“Solar Solution started out with a miscommunication at first, but the company realized the problem, fixed it, and everything went right from there. They had the best price and the installation is on aluminum beams — no roof penetration or weight — and we are very happy. We chose the more expensive panels and owning the SRECs. “They sent a friendly and very responsive guy in the beginning. It all changes once you sign the contract. I had so much difficulty afterwards: they scheduled the installation date then they would cancel on the same day or the day before without much notice. They did this twice. Also they needed to talk to my roofer and coordinate which isn’t that hard of a job. But they would just ignore and not contact my roofer. After the installation, their communication was worst. They told me to contact PEPCO for meter change and PEPCO sent me an email saying the Solar Solution had to finish paper work first. Again very poor communication. There are a few options for solar companies, I strongly recommend staying away from this company. Not sure how they have such good reviews, perhaps they used to be good and now they got busy and don’t know how to run it well anymore? In any case, t

“We had panels fitted about 8 years ago, there have always been issues which don’t seem to be resolved, people keep showing up and not being able to fix either inside or outside. Just yesterday 2 people with a truck stood outside at 8.30am then disappeared, would not recommend. “I rarely write reviews, but given the nature of this service, I thing it is important for buyers to beware. Everything from start to finish has been complicated and poorly executed. The panels were installed leaning over my neighbor’s roof. The installation took months to schedule and nobody communicated with me. The installation was not explained and they left a mess, that I had to clean up. The system has been offline for weeks and they don’t monitor it. They are disorganized and only focused on sales.
