My first call was to Arizona Solar Wave, and they were so responsive, precise, and helpful that I was extremely comfortable proceeding with them. I had done a fair amount of background work figuring out about what I wanted/would need, and Brad worked through every step with me, coming up with about the same panel size and persuading me (contrary to my first instinct) not to do backup batteries. After signing with them, there was never a question I had that wasn’t answered within a matter of hours, if not minutes. The installation itself was flawless–indeed, everything was smooth and precise from the moment I first contacted Arizona Solar Wave. Solar panels are a big expenditure, but this was, overall, at the very top of my experience with businesses/installers. “I am paying more after solar install. Quoted a 35$ fee from SRP yearly, they charge that every month and can raise it as much as they choose, according to SRP. They installed equipment on my house and never told me what it’s for, how it works. They turned power on while i was at work ignoring my request to wait until i could be there to answer my questions. Like What do i do if i have an electrical fire? How to clean and maintain the panels? How to track or know if the panels are even working? My system cost me 60k yep, 60,000 dollars and with payment my electric bills are still almost 400$ a month in the summertime. 2 years have gone by and no one from this company has reached out to see how it’s all going. I have to pray this company will back their 25-yr warranty when the panels ware out and don’t work anymore. Customer service should be something that happens even after THE COMPANY GETS PAID! “Brad and Justin have been nothing but very professional. We have had this unit since 2021 and it’s performed perfectly. Last month we had a slight issue with our main electrical box and we contacted them. they sent out a tech the next morning and resolved the issue. The tech explained everything that created the issue repaired what was needed. the issue was because we had a new pool pump added to our already overloaded electric box and the pump shorted, Popped all the breakers and shut down the solar. We are so grateful that the tech (Joe) was able to reset the solar and we’re back online. I can’t say enough to recommend Solar Wave and Brad and his team. “You are better off contracting the solar hot water work directly with the contractor and save a lot of money. I do not feel like I got much for $13k. DO NOT sign up for the GreenSky Financing of 18 mos No Payments. You can refi that loan but if you do not a $13k loan will have $4k of back interest put on it at 18 mos turning it into a $17k loan and then they will add $249.00 mo interest for every month it is not paid off on top of the $17k !!! Imagine how much harder it will be to pay off that shark loan when $249 is added to the balance every month. “Michael and Brad were awesome to work with. Michael had to work hard to convince me to go with fewer panels, I wanted to fill the roof! He showed me that the right number of panels would have faster payback and still minimize our electric bill.After 4 years, we are still happy with our system, I’ve been tracking savings based on pre-solar electric bills and we are on track for 11 year payback versus 15 they said to expect.My only recommendation is to look at storage options that were too immature when we bought our system four years ago.Once budget allows, we’ll be adding storage so we can use AC during the peak summer hours and hopefully feed into the grid during dark, peak hours rather than off peak sunny hours.
