I knew that his passion for solar and helping us find what worked for us was his top priority. Midwest Solar cares about their customers and wants to make sure you understand your project every step of the way. This is a turn-key red carpet solar company. The best part is they were local for us, you are supporting families when you choose them. The crew was happy and respectful. During COVID times they were masks properly indoors. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. You don’t expect this level of perfection but they nailed it. Now we can enjoy this system for years to come. We got alpha rec panels because we wanted to spend some extra money on a little higher panel. The installation went smoothly and the crew was knowledgeable, professional, well-organized, and great at communicating with us. We’ve had no issues with the panels in the 5+ years since then, and I admit it’s fun to check the app to see how much energy they produce.More recently, we did have an issue with a family of squirrels that took up residence under the panels, causing some damage. When I reached out to the company to ask for advice about addressing the issue, they got us on the schedule for repairs and critter guard installation. Nest removal was handled by a different company, which left the remains of the nest all over the roof, deck, and lawn. The crew was unfazed by the mess and got to work. “Incredibly happy with their service. We installed residential panels on a new construction home- they were excellent at communicating with both us and the builders team, timely, answered all of our questions, and provided a great quality product and installation. On top of that, they helped us through the credits, and I was blown away at the summary ‘binder’ they put together for us, with all of our communications, product information and warranty, credits etc. Absolutely phenomenal service and I wish we had a reason to use their services again, but we are hoping these panels and our new net-zero home last us a very very long time! “Having moved this year, it was my second solar panel installation by Midwest Solar Power. The management up to the install date and after was well organized. The day of installation went quickly. The crew showed up on time and efficiently split duties between the panel installers on the roof and the electrical wiring crew in the basement. All was done by early afternoon just in time for the sun to come out. After 3 weeks, the on-line monitoring system shows the panels are providing clean electricity to our home and the grid.
