“The installers from Modern Mill, Tyler, Caesar, and Eli worked relentlessly in subzero weather, and rainy weather. Tyler worked all by himself one day. Everything was done very professionally and when the work was done you had to look twice to see the panels on the roof. Tyler was always very friendly and informed me for every step of the install. He was honest in explaining and told me when he was not able to do the work because it would have been a very intensive install of the converter in my garage. He had not done that before and would need help from higher ups to complete. Plus it would have cost me more money. “Modern Mill had workers install solar power on my house over 5 months ago , the equipment for them to work a month later. My power company also installed what was needed. I have been paying on the loan since April, to my power company , but no service from Modern Mill. Have called them numerous times for someone to come out, no one has come and no reimbursement. “This is the worse company I have ever worked for. The manger is always late and or just doesn’t come in. Has a I don’t care about attitude. You will always feel belittled by her. She’s will disappear for hours at a time and will constantly make you feel bad about yourself. She doesn’t work and puts all the pressure on employees to make an appt. and if something goes wrong with the appt the employees will be to blame for no reason. She will always interrupt you while you are in the phone with a customer. She thinks she always right and when she’s wrong she will not apologize but some how will put the blame on you. I signed a contract stating I will get benefits After 3 months. I was there for 10 months and never saw a single benefit. And when asked about the manger told me sorry that’s not possible anymore. Never got holiday pay. When I tried to explain how I felt and give my respectable 2 week notice the manger fired me on spot. I have never felt so unvalued and uncomfortable in a work place. “Our system was installed in 2019 and their service was severely lacking in the office area, until recently. We had an issue this summer and I could not reach their local office, I had to call Illinois. Then I remembered that I had Tyler’s number in my phone and reached out to him. This is the best customer service that we have had, ever. He communicates timely and is knowledgeable about the system. It was he who got our system up and running and letting me know about what was going on. We are very confident that any issues will be taken care of with his help. Thank you Tyler! (We have never had an issue with any of the installers from the initial installation to a couple visits over the years. They were all friendly and knowledgably as well.)
