“I am thrilled about my experience with RISE Power. Jamal Brown offered swift, personalized service. I had heard from my friends (who bought from other companies) that the process takes 4-6 months. Not with RISE! Jamal got me from initial proposal to installed, powered on, and generating my own power in barely 2 months! The panels look great on my home, the process required nothing from me other than to be home to let someone in the attic when they installed and electronically sign documents as needed. Jamal was in touch with me personally every step of the way to keep me informed, let me know when to check my email, and remind me to sign documents so the process could continue. “I started doing solar research in the late 70’s, and have followed the industry now for 40+ years. I’ve delt with many companies, good and bad and have to say RISE solar is the top solar company I’ve every worked with. This is the second solar array we’ve installed at our current home (capacity 10KW), and expect it and the current array to provide a total capacity 25KW, making us net energy neutral or even slightly positive. In review of this installation completed last month, and the performance of RISE solar overall, we are totally pleased: The communication from RISE was very good, substantially better than most any company in any industry I’ve worked with before. From the president, to their operations personnel, to the installers, they were all very conscientious, courteous and polite. They were flexible with our schedules and in retrospect, honest – everything they told us turned out to be true. Their monitoring of the system is very good, letting us know when they were setting the system up, tweaking performance and communicating efficiently with professions that are all well trained in customer service. Tony B. helped me set up the solar panels system at my house. The company had excellent customer service, I was pleased with their responsiveness to all my queries and recommend them highly. The system has been functioning excellent. I often get credit from my electric company for the surplus production from my panels above what my house uses. Tony was knowledgeable in explaining to me the different financing options and help me pick one suitable for me. The process was simple and I am glad I made the choice of solar energy over fossil fuels. “Rise Power CUSTOMER ABUSE AND Misuse of ONCOR REBATE PROGRAM AS A BAIT-AND-SWITCH TACTIC. Tell me what happened. March 2. 2021 Rise Power presentation to us including an explanation of non-guaranteed ONCOR REBATE at 15khw approximately $7,000 in our case. March 4th we signed the contract. The problem is that Rise Power aroused our hopes and neglected to circle back to tell us that our project was not approved. They had 3-different opportunities to tell us but did not. After 9-weeks of chasing an answer, we reached Ben Bryner and learned that we never had a chance of receiving the ONCOR REBATE. He admitted that the sales rep did not know the structure of the promotion and the way that they use and utilize the rebate as bait is they only tell their experienced reps to use the promotion to get their customers to move forward with solar as we did. Then they switch. Ben Bryner admitted that the funds were mostly or already claimed by the time we signed our contract. Since the rebate is not guaranteed they don’t expect you to follow up. But, to be ok with not being told anything. The ONCOR REBATE IS SIMPLY A SALES TOOL. Rise Power owes us the rebate. BEN BRYNER agrees that there is a problem but his partner Adam doesn’t think that anything went wrong. Ben promised to speak with Adam and get back to us but it has been more than three weeks and all we have is another broken promise. We had to do all the work to find out that we would not be getting the rebate. And that’s just wrong. Rise Power harmed us. They lied. And, they owe us the rebate. “This company promised me that my entire house would be able to go off grid and sold me six batteries and multiple panels. I paid cash in full tens of thousands of dollars. A few months into having my system, I asked over and over again why my power bill was still so high. I had meeting after meeting to ask the questions and go through the details and try and understand the numbers in the app, and I was treated with such disrespect and such condescending attitudes as though I was stupid because I didn’t understand. I kept asking why do I still have a power bill because it just didn’t make any sense. They could not answer the question. The app showed that all my power needs should covered by the energy I was producing. Later, when the power went out after a storm, my air-conditioning didn’t work. I asked for someone to come explain. Then after more than a year, they finally admit that when they installed my solar that they did not have my HVAC system and dryer included on solar. This is why I still had a huge power bill. I have been running my system for more than a year during the day thinking that it’s powered by solar having no idea that it wasn’t. This is blatant fraud. There have been no issues with the panels. They helped coordinating with the utility company as well and provided all needed support to get my 3rd party financial services in getting the loan processed. The solar panels have been working well and consistent. No damages during hail storms. While I have had the trip switch go off inside the enphase gateway during heavy lightning and thunder storms twice, RISE service personnel showed up and got it fixed promptly. Now they proactively check in to see if I was affected during a recent storm ! I’m glad they didn’t forget about me. Unlike other businesses that just focus on gaining new customers, RISE pays attention to their current customers, which is amazing. “Rise Customer (install of March ’23). I never writes bad reviews because I am a business owner and businesses are not perfect and make mistakes. But I feel I am morally obligated to write a review to help other people. I am a lawyer and my husband is in real estate. I was fully taken advantage of by Rise and continue to be. We lost a ton of money on an investment that we thought would power our entire house and it is set up to only power part of our house.
