“When I install my solar back in 2017 with Hytech , I was told by sell representative it will cost me $1000 to remove and reinstall solar panel if I need to do new roof later on. “- After install 1 panel not producing like the others. I called customer service which claimed they’re replace it under warranty. On the app, they then swapped that underproducing panel to a different location. Then claim the underproduction was because of a shadow so it’s now not covered by warranty. Shady tactic. They never told me about the switch and I found out because I luckily took screen shots of the production for some days. “Last Saturday, i received a message saying I had micro inverters not operating. I left a message not expecting any answer until Monday. On Monday I called again. I spoke to Vladimir. He told me service would be $185 an hour. I said ok. He told me his manager would call back to schedule. I did not get any call back The next day I got another error message saying gateway was not responding. Called again. Since than I have been calling every day. “Skyy Mussetter and Hytech lied to me to steal my business from a competitor. Skyy and I connected when Hytech did a home energy audit and he was my Hytech representative. When I told him I was going to get solar, he asked about the deal. He told me he could beat the price I was quoted by 50%. Once the contract was signed, Skyy was very hard to get a hold of. More than two months later, he contacted me out of the blue to let me know that they were going to have to cut the number of panels in my home by half (from 13 to 7 panels). This is not the first time Hytech has done home solar, therefore such a drastic reduction goes beyond engineering assessment mistakes. It goes beyond mismanagement. It is an outright lie. “Stay away, they lie!! System installed with half the panels on the north facing part of roof that only provide 25% of what the rear panels generate and they refuse to move them to the rear. System doesn’t even produce 25% of my needs, their response to my complaint states their estimate was for 40% yet their sales person said my electric bills would be down to $15 per bill and showed me his.Sales guy promised transfer switch for my portable generator, that never happened.Roofing crew left debris which cost me $25 to fix nail in tire.System makes certain home systems erratic because of inverter communication over house wiring, inverter manufacturer has no blocking technology to prevent this from getting into the house. Also installer did not connect one hot line correctly, was sparking because not inserted into breaker correctly.Also was sold that the warranty is transferable to new home owner if I sell during the warranty period of 25 Years, yet just read the paperwork and that was another lie.Do your homework, you may regret your decision like we do!!” – Patrick S ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 12, 2024

“Terrible business Was quoted 19k to beat all other contractors and final bill added $3425 more with no explanation and no itemized bill meanwhile my roof was half off I don’t have 20k in my back pocket so was forced to proceed with the project being an additional $3425! Then the original color shingle I picked out had a 6 week out date. Why offer the color if it’s not immediately ready so I had to settle for a different color.
