“Synergy installed a fantastic system on our home. Everything was completed in one day and the system is working beautifully. The roof installation is beautiful and it looks like we have a glass roof. It is much more aesthetically pleasing than the systems of just a few years ago. All of the cabling and connections are neat and tidy. There is a great feeling when you turn the system on for the first time and see the dial slow and then reverse direction and then spin madly backward. Great products and great installation. “Due to our home having mostly a flat roof, we decided to go with ground mounted solar panels in 2022. The installation was somewhat complicated by having to move overhead wires and update our home electric panel. The Synergy Home solar panel crew was hard-working, courteous, and persistent in solving the challenges that were encountered. “Jamie visited our home after I had performed my own radon test. He made recommendations which involved installing a fan to pull a vacuum from under our basement floor thorough the existing drainage. This method did not work because of pulling too much fresh air through the drainage system exposed to the atmosphere. When that did not lower the level of the radon, Jamie suggested a more efficient method of pulling a vacuum from under the slab. Although the second try involved additional visits and labor, Jamie did not charge more for the additional work. Today, the test results indicate that the radon level is well below the critical level. Jamie’s professionalism and dedication was evident as he, Jason, and Todd solved our radon issue. “BEWARE of Synergy Home, LLC!! We paid our one-half deposit in October 2018 – over 1 year ago – for installation of solar panels/micro-inverters, radon fan, water heater, and insulation. NO WORK was ever even started, and the owner HAS REFUSED TO REFUND OUR MONEY, even refusing to honor his commitment to abide by the BBB’s arbitration decision. “Called my old company under same name and phone number but this company showed up. Found out this company bought my old reliable company still used same name and phone number. Should have been my first clue something was a miss but I let them in anyway because it was last years ice storm and I had no heat. They go to work right away and found my outside unit had frozen from the ice. They thawed it out and went on the way. Next day same thing happened. Called them back. New person showed up and he determined that now I need repair work done and it would cost $1000. Alarm bells went off so I checked around for other estimates. New company came charged $90 for visit, Synergy charged $100. New company said it just froze up again but all parts still worked fine. It is still working today. “This company installed a new system in our townhome ins 2023. In May 2024, the compressor and a board had gone bad. We asked about the warranty and they said it covered the part but not the labor or freon. The unit was poorly installed with gaps between the unit and the filter and they did not seem to know what they were doing. $3100 later, we are in collections.
