This was in April 2024 immediately prior to their bankruptcy and restructuring. SAVKAT was assigned as our installer. We reached the point of final inspection on 16JUL24, the same day Sunpower issued a stop work on all solar installations. SAVKAT eventually finished the work without waiting for Sunpower approval to move forward allowing us to begin producing power. I credit this effort entirely to SAVKAT and the Mystic Solar company. “We had our solar panels installed by Savkat in May 2025. The installation was done according to the plan / timeline and we have started seeing $0 electric bills. There were however, two disappointing issues that leave me worried about their commitment to their customers: 1. My son and his family installed their panels first. His sales person promised him a $1,000 referral fee if he introduced us and we bought our panels from Savkat. He did introduce us and despite multiple calls / texts to Brad, he does not respond and my son has never received the referral fee. 2. The initial setup was somehow ‘accidentally reversed’ and for the first month our bill was doubled. Eversource verified the issue and Savkat came out and fixed it. I have asked to be reimbursed for the overage we had to pay, but until today, no one is even responding. I own a business and feel strongly that you should honor your word to your customers. I now wonder whether they would honor a warranty. “A typical workday at Savkat was comprised of being screamed at and belittled by the owner, listening to him scream and threaten his two baby mommas who both work beside him. I learned that no amount of money is worth spending my days in an environment like that. The management was simple toxic. The workplace culture was one of fear of losing your job…or worse. Jordan Bernstein as the lead PM from beginning to end did a great job not only managin the project but also keeping me abreast of progress and unforseen delays. His estimate was very reasonable in comparison to the competition which included top installers in the state of CT covering this area. I also had a stipulated requirement for the project completion date, Jordan promised he would meet that date but the project was successfully completed over a month in advance of my stipulated date. I can’t say enough, about Jordan personally and professionally and of the team supporting him at SAVKAT. I would give more stars to the team if possible. “We just completed and turned on our solar panels from Savkat solar at our home here in Naugatuck CT., when we called, we were directed to Jordan Bernstein. He walked us through every step of the way. our first meeting was on May 27th 2025, no pressure at all, my wife and I discussed this in detail later that weekend. After calling them back our install was on June 23rd and 24th, our inspection was on June 27th. After inspection we waited for Eversource for about 2 weeks who changed our meters and gave us the all clear to turn them on.
