“This company was very fast and easy to work with until several panels on my roof were installed on the wrong portion of the house. I brought up the concern with 3 different people at the company. They all try to convince me that its okay and I should just live with the mistake. Now they told me they would talk to their higher ups in the company and set back to me with a solution. Its been months since I’ve hear from them and no responses to emails or texts. Apart from that the panels are ugly on the roof as they made no effort to hide the metal strut that attaches to the roof. “We signed the loan contract with Lunex Power in August. It is now mid-March and we don’t have our solar panels working. Lunex dropped the ball at every stage of our installation. They delayed months in getting us the solar panels, they calculated the incorrect amount of panels they could install, they failed to understand that the panels had to be generating electricity to take the the deduction, and they failed to respond to the electric company so our application was dropped and needed to be restarted. They don’t return calls or emails. You are left in the dark wondering what is holding up the project, but you have no way of finding out. “We had solar panels installed after being promised that we would not get any electric bills from FPL unless we added something that would use a lot more electricity. This was not true, even if the panels produced enough power, there is still a minimum bill. we were also promised that there would be a reconciliation at the end of each year and if the panels produced more electricity than we used, there would be a credit. This has not happened. We were told that if the power went out, we would still have electricity thru the inverters on the solar panels for up to 2 days. that was NOT true, without batteries, there is no power if power goes out. After many calls, texts and emails, we finally spoke with a rep who said the salesperson was wrong telling us all of this and that he miscalculated how many panels were required to eliminate our electric bills. Additional panels were added and after another 4 months, we still are not getting the low electric bills from FPL that we were promised. Supposedly a rep is monitoring our usage and trying to understand the problem. we have provided our FPL bills for the last 3 years multiple times for the reps to get this figured out and still have gotten any satisfactory results. If I had looked into this further, I would never have gone with Lunex Power/Sunnova. We are paying monthly on the solar panels and still paying FPL and this now costs us more per month than if we had just kept FPL as our power source. “Well, Lunex solved the problem. The city required a 2nd meter but there wasn’t any need for it since the meter was bi-directional to begin with. Basically a snaffu that was fixed but a bit of a hassle to solve the problem. I’d say the engineer should have spoken to the installer and someone should have talked to the city. “Lunex installed our solar system in June/July. It FAILED INSPECTION. They used google earth instead of sending someone out to measure…. weeks later and new plans. ( ill leave out a lot of details in the middle…).. they did something.. In august i received a form but they never arranged inspector…. Well today we saw an inspector it FAILED AGAIN for a few reasons So disappointed that this company installed hardware that is NOT up to code, doesnt have proper paper work it extremely difficult to get answers from unless we call them. And we still do not have a working system.
