What Do Customers Say About the Bozeman Green Build?
Positive reviews:
“I had Bozeman Green Build install solar panels on our house about 4 or 5 years ago and the entire process has been wonderful. The end result is we have not had to pay for any electrical charges since (or only a very small amount in January). With the increased power charges from our power company, the system is paying for itself much faster than predicted. I found Bozeman Green Build to be easy to work with, and the quality of their work is great; I was surprised at how fast the installation went. There was a slight delay in the projected start time on our project, but that was not the fault of Bozeman Green Build- it was a supply chain issue, and it only delayed the start a very short time- totally inconsequential. Since the system has been installed, it has created well over 12.15 MWh of power. I have recommended Bozeman Green Build to a number of my friends, and at least 4 or 5 have installed systems based upon my experience, and are equally pleased.” – Kevin Brustuen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 22, 2025
“Install took a little longer than I hoped for, but John and his team have been very helpful along the way and very committed to making everything right. I feel like I have been well taken care of and most importantly, promises were kept. The Solar System is beautiful, state of the art, and working as expected. Their support after the sale has been great too. Highly recommended. Thanks!” – Mark Paulson ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 29, 2024
Negative reviews:
“Let me say first of all that I’m happy with my 7kW system (Enphase micro inverters/Trina panels). The part I’m not very happy about is the very unreliable project scheduling and lack of communication. My system was supposed to be installed in February. It was actually installed in May. Then it took multiple emails and phone calls to BGB, Northwest Energy and the city of Helena. Turns out BGB didn’t schedule an inspection until about 3 weeks after the panels were installed. Once that was completed, I had to wait for NWE to install a net meter. The result was…I had the system sitting on my roof (already over 3 months later than promised) for an additional 6 weeks, without producing a single kWh. The system finally went live on June 9th. I’m sure if I hadn’t regularly pestered Johnny at BGB, those panels would still not be producing today.” – Holger Meyer ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 10, 2023
Positive reviews:
“Fantastic to work with! Our community, Bozeman Cohousing, hired BGB to install all the solar for our community of 43 house holds and private solar for about 85% of us and the process from my perspective was smooth and efficient. The preparation and signage before the installation was clear and thorough. When builders were in site they were polite and super respectful of the property. Working with payment and financing was also easy and all were kind. I appreciate the professionalism of the employees and am thrilled to now have functioning solar power which brought my most recent bill down to mere pennys. Thank you BGB” – Marianne Filloux ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2025
“Positive experience overall. Friendly, responsive communications throughout the process from initial contact to follow-up after installation. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and flexible with different configurations. The installation was quick, started shortly after the contract was signed. Good communication for the system placement, wire/conduit routing and on-site work schedule. The installation work and system is professional grade. The system is operating as expected. I’m looking forward to my power bills!! Can’t say I’ve ever felt that way about them before!!! I especially like the ability to monitor the system performance through the Enphase app, tells me how much electricity is being generated by the panels and how much is being drawn off the grid.” – Thaddeus Orosz ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 2025
