Signed a contract with them and had my system installed about 3 weeks later. They moved VERY FAST. Guys did a great job with the install. They took care to locate all the trusses on the roof and ensure the lag bolts were placed in the right locations. Have had some very heavy down pours since the install and there are NO leaks! All wiring was ran very neatly and equipment installed very clean. Array looks great from my back yard! I have a very high level of confidence that the job was done right and the equipment will last a very long time. A+ to the sales guy and the installers. Only frustrating issue is that it took them about a month after install to “commission the system” (that what they called it) and set up the monitoring software. “Went with solar max for my solar system instead got very expensive roof art! They started the installation last year. It failed inspection.Their excuse they Kept telling me they where waiting to hear from the inspector to find out what needs to be done. Finally Came out to fix what failed inspection. Then got re inspected failed again for the same thing. Came out again to fix the issue but now they can’t figure out how to schedule re inspection. So if you’re truly looking for a solar system that works. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. They also say 10 year labor coverage but when you get the contact it says 5 years. “Solar Max is a company that is NOT customer service oriented. They make you buy their solar panels in order to to install solar batteries, even though you already have existing panels. The bad part of this is that they DO NOT get a permit, leaving you at risk to have to remove everything they installed on if. Nothing is inspected. They do not test what they’ve done in front of the customer. Our system was not wired correctly and did not perform like it was supposed to. They refuse to make it right at their expense and want to charge us more. This company is all about making money and NOT providing a quality functioning system. “Excuse my language but the salesman gave me such a bullshit story i believed him. He promised me the world for 39 solar panels on my roof my electric bill would only be 10-15 dollars a month and i would be receiving a huge check from my electric company for overage. Well I haven’t had a electric bill that was under 100 dollars a month since install and between my electric and my payment for the solar panels its more than my electric was before solar. Numerous and i mean numerous calls to the salesman and company with not a one phone call back. No service after the sale. I advise people to stay far very far away from this company. “Going solar with this company was one of the best decisions Ive ever made for my home. From the very first phone call, everyone I spoke with was friendly, honest, and easy to work with. The pricing was fair, and they were always quick to respond whenever I had a ************, I dont have an electric bill at all and when our neighborhood lost power recently, my Tesla Powerwall kicked in instantly. My lights, AC, and everything else stayed on like nothing even happened. Meanwhile, my neighbors were sitting in the ******* feels great knowing Im saving money every month, paying less than I ever did with ****, and I have the peace of mind that my home is always powered. “I called Solar Max to inquire about getting solar panels on my home in Hudson Florida. A salesman for them came out and we went over what I wanted and what they could provide, and I agreed to proceed with having them install the solar. First, they told me that if the power goes out that the solar would stay on and it would take care of 100% of our power needs, we figured out my average of $130.00 a month but needless to say none of this was true. When I talked to them about this, they replied that I would need to spend another $7200.00 to get the 100%, also not true. When we argued about this, they told me that I needed to either pay it or they would come and take the panels off or take me to court. I ended up paying approximately $32K for a system that I could have got another system equal to it for only $23K. Not to mention I still have a power bill to pay and also a payment to a finance company. Also, the panels were installed on my roof in front of 60–80-year-old oak tree which hides the sun until about 3PM. These people are scammers, liar’s and DO NOT deliver what they promise! “This company will make promises and “sell” you and then drop you at any minutes notice. They do not look out for their employees, they just care how much money the company is making. They have done it to several employees. They are a greedy company and do faulty jobs. You will sell a job and have clients blowing you up on a day to day basis on faulty installs but the office will not take care of it. They make promises they can’t keep and do not pay out properly. They will change up the contract at a minutes notice and act like it wasn’t properly written up after you already signed the contract.
