Missouri Solar Applications review

Missouri Solar Applications gets the Average Performer badge and works in 1 state, but their third-party ratings don't go above 4. Local community trust isn't their strong suit either - their score is 3.8 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Missouri Solar Applications may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Missouri Solar Applications to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.

What Do Customers Say About the Missouri Solar Applications?

Positive reviews:

“Our retail store bought a 25KW system from Missouri Solar Application 2 years ago. We have saved a tremendous amount of money on our electricity bills , including heating and cooling. We have made a positive move towards being green and energy efficient. This company is Missouri based, and the equipment is made in the USA.They took care of all the paper work, including helping us get rebates from Ameren UE, and the US Government. Not only is it a wise investment, it has given us tax credits for the next 5 years, and will have paid for itself during such time. Missouri Solar Applications continuously helps us monitor our systems, and are very easy to get in contact with. They even stop by our store to check in on us when they come through Boonville, MO.If you are interested in solar power, and what it can do for you, we highly recommend Missouri Solar Application and their team !Come by our store and see what the benefits of Solar Power can do for your home or business.Imhoff’s Hometown Appliance and Service( Residential Appliance Sales and Repair Service )905 Main Street, Boonville MO. 660-882-8688” – Imhoff’s Appliance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 17, 2014

“Company was good to work with, delivered as promised, and provided a top quality system that has actually produced more in the first 2 1/2 years than they promised. We were so pleased we had them install an expansion system this spring.” – Ken ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 21, 2014

Negative reviews:

“MO Solar Apps came all the way to SW MO to install my solar panels in Dec 2016. They seemed like an excellent company to do business with, and at the time, their salesman assured me that having my project so far from their Jefferson City location wouldn’t be a problem if the need for service should ever arise. Nov 2020, I needed the system removed from my roof because I was having hail damaged shingles replaced. At the time, I wanted the panels relocated to a ground mount instead of reinstalling them on the roof. MO Solar priced that ground mount nearly as high as the original price to put them on my roof to begin with. I then selected another, more local company to do the relocation of panels, and at the same time, added another 3K of panels. This was OK’d by Fronius tech support. Flash forward to July 2021 and my daily solar production is dropping into the 7900kw range peak, rather than the expected 10kw range as has been experienced in the first half of 2021. Obviously, the Fronius is having issues. I can’t get MO Solar Apps interested in coming to SW MO to diagnose the inverter. They say the other, more local company, should be the ones to come diagnose/service my system since they added the extra 3kw of production. The local company won’t come either, because they didn’t sell me the invertor. Bottom line for me is this: when the chips are down, MO Solar Apps has let me down and can not be trusted to service what they sell. I was able to get Fronius tech support directly on the phone today, and they graciously have sent me update support files to load into the inverter, and if that doesn’t fix the unit, they will make arrangements directly with me to go the next steps in diagnosing the problem and/or sending the unit in to them for repair etc. IMHO, MO Solar Apps is not a good company to do your solar project with.” – jqf ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 12, 2021

“Great place to work. Would recommend for people going through school and wanting to make money while gain experience. I enjoy my time and flexibility here.” – Sales Consultant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 11, 2018

“The Solar business is very volatile right now. Hopefully affordability is in the near future!” – B2B Solar Consultant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 4, 2014

Negative reviews:

“Person in charge was a very negative person. Toxic and talked down to ppl. Sales strategy was from the 70s. They pushed Scientology on you and expect you to follow. It’s a very different world than they pitched!” – Sales Representative ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 25, 2024

Positive reviews:

“Doug came out to our house and gave us a lot of really good information. We learned a lot and feel that he is a great person to trust in solarizing your home!” – Brianna Vuagniaux ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 2025

“From the initial visit with Mo Solar Apps’ salesman, Tom, our experience with this solar installer has been of the utmost quality. Professionalism is the word I think of when thinking of this entire solar panel installation process. Every question we had regarding timing, products, and installation were answered swiftly & accurately. The installers were 2nd to none insofar as contractors we have dealt with over the years, right down to removing every morsel of trash created from the unpacking of the inverter & panels. It’s been a pleasure to do business with Mo Solar Apps.” – jim feagins ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2017

Negative reviews:

“Don’t waste your time, better call somebody else. Been waiting for months for the solar system to be installed, still nothing. They just make fake promises.Update: I can provide the call logs if necessary. One of your workers visited my house in the beginning of March, nothing after that.” – Arthur B ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025
