What Do Customers Say About the Zero Energy Associates?

yelp.com

Positive reviews:

“I love this company! We own a bakery with very tall ceilings and our electric bills are through the roof. We called these fine gentlemen about coming out and consulting, looking for ideas and improvements. They discovered our swamp cooler had broken down. In quick order they ordered in a new one and had it installed on our crazy steep roof!We would definitely recommend them.” – CONDRA E. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 30, 2015

“Zero Energy Associates were phenomenal solar contractors! They worked with me to design a solar array and efficient heating system to work with a challenging layout and orientation of my home. They helped me shop/secure the best financing available and to optimize any rebates, tax breaks, etc. They were delightful to work with…very straightforward, responsive and timely. Their followup service has also been incredible, even when they had nothing to do with an unrelated roof leak problem that I thought was connected to the solar arrays. When I called, they came out immediately to check out the problem and went the extra mile to show me where the problem was coming from. They also referred me to a good roofer to get that problem fixed. All in all…5 stars!” – Liz W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 12, 2017

Negative reviews:

“They did a solar and energy package in a new house. Very bad experience in all respects. First they located the solar panels in an undesirable location, then installed the wrong panels, then assigned the NEM credit to the well meter instead of the house meter. Then the DHW heat pump failed and it took 5-6 months to diagnose and get replaced, then the HVAC heat pump failed. Very poor communication and the same bad attitude described in another review here.” – Diane M. ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 20, 2023

“Booked an appointment a month out. 3 days before the appointment some other company called saying Zero Energy was too busy so they asked him to call us. WTF?” – Bob T. ⭐☆☆☆☆ January 27, 2015

Positive reviews:

“Zero Energy is the best! We just replaced our (old and dying) gas furnace and water neater with electric heat pumps. Our contractor, Zero Energy, was the most thorough in explaining what we needed. and with their bid. They scheduled the installation quickly. Their work was impeccable…..very clean and careful. They stayed in close touch with any information we wanted. Now they are helping us with getting the appropriate rebates. I highly recommend them and we intend to use them again.” – Susan Sullivan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025

“I’ve been using Zero Energy Associates for HVAC and solar on most of my construction projects for the last 7 years. Daniel Smith and his crew have always stood behind their work 100%. When asked, I always recommend ZEA for solar and HVAC projects.” – Dan Boyle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2025
