“My solar system installed by Pacific Sun Tech was a very easy process from start to finish. They did all the permitting and had their people available for the inspections. It is a very clean installation and the SDG&E and city inspectors commented on the quality of the install. Their staff filed the forms for the warranty and SDG&E for permission to operate. “Franklin Wh whole house solar battery installation. I cannot stress more what a great team from Pacific Sun Technologies. They finished up today keeping the power on while completing the battery wiring. Extremely neat wiring, very friendly , and thoroughly labeled all breakers in new breaker box. “We had Bird metal netting installed by this company around the base of our solar panel in 2018 soon after moving into the newly build house. They claimed that their netting is the most secure in the business. I had called them today(5 year since install) because a piece of netting was some how pulled away from the base of the panel, when called the company, they said that sometimes pigeons can pull the metal fencing away and that it was originally attached to the panel by adhesives, ‘ADHESIVES’??? to install these netting it cost 700.00 and their claim was it was the best in the business. So now I basically have to pay for pigon abatement (pest control) before they come back out and install the malfunctioned panel for 140.00 (tech call fee)+ 15.00 ( panel fee). Please ask details which I failed to ask before considering this company. Unfortunately they don’t volunteer these information on their own. “Pacific Sun was actually a wonderful company to work with from the first time I called them to the final inspection and sign off. The entire process to expand my system only took 3 months. They were also willing to expand my current system which was through Sunnova instead of installing a completely separate one. I have micro inverters so it made zero sense to install a separate system entirely. I own mine and thus Pacific Sun made it easy to just tack on to the panels I had and they were able to add a second battery to my existing system as well. “Charged me to come out and diagnose the issue with my solar system. After that first visit that said they would send me and estimate for the repairs. When I got they estimate I realized that they never figured out the problem and they were going to charge me another diagnostic fee. After they left I checked the roof and found that they left some mechanical connections undone on the panels. They also left pieces of the inverter unconnected.
