“Vince did not install the 68 panels & 68 microinverters as per the contract. When I questioned him, he responded to the attached text photo that he reduced the system to 48 panels and 48 microinverters, but also increased the wattage of panels to 585W to compensate for 20 fewer panels. Keep in mind, I had to question Vince about the panel discrepancy, as he never came forward with the proposed change to reduce my panels and wattage. When I inspected the model # of the installed 48 panels, Vince actually installed 435W panels, far less than the contracted 585W panels. At the time of the township inspection, Seapoint Solar lied to city officials and showed the electrical inspector a set of plans that were not approved by the township, so he could match a completely different installation of 48 panels. The township has identified these issues and is taking the necessary steps against Seapoint Solar. CHECK ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT EVEN IF THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE AND DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! “Seapoint Solar is the most unethical company that I have dealt with in my entire lifetime. The owner Vincent Imperiale is a pathological liar who schmoozes you into buying his poison. He will promise you the panels and inverters which happens to be on the official contract that you agreed upon and happen to sign officially but instead installs the cheapest product that he can profit off of. He has not only done this to me but also to two of my family members and two of my closest friends that I referred him to. He is currently under investigation by the NJ AG’s office which I implore anyone reading this to call and confirm. “I worked for this company from 10/16:24 to 6/6/25. Every one was si nice good company but one the owner Vince Imperiale. He does not like to pay his employees. My first pay which was 3 weeks I to working. I received by cash app. I have never received 1 paystub the entire time I worked there. Also the owner Vince took out 300 in taxes e wry Friday out of my pay for taxes. But here is the kicked never got a w2 and where was that money going weekly? According to the IRS I was considered unemployed. They had no record of me being employed by this company. Every Friday we the employees were left sitting around wondering when and how we are getting paid??? When I would approach the owner and asked for pay. He would continually lie about sending a wire or a direct deposit. Nice guy but a habitual liar who will not pay his employees. I started a new job 1 week ago. The owner is refusing to pay the 2 weeks he held. Beware this man lies and is extremely unethical. If he does to his employees. “I contacted Seapoint Solar in early October on a Thursday. Spoke to Vince on Friday and got a quote the same day for a new roof and solar panels. Seapoint handled everything for me including dealing with JCPL & the township and permits. Communication was excellent before, during and after the project. As promised, before Thanksgiving, I had a new roof and an operational solar system generating power. Still waiting on the township for the inspection but Seapoint is handling that as well. The whole team from Vince to Taylor, Tiffany, Rich and crew were professional and courteous. I would highly, highly recommend Seapoint Solar for your project.
