What Do Customers Say About the High Performance Homes?
Positive reviews:
“This company is one of the best companies we have ever worked with for our home upgrade! They promised they would not leave without our complete approval of their work. They were easy to work with and communicate with — out of 10 we would give them a 15 rating! Super professionals!” – Susan Thompson Drain ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 7, 2026
“We were many years past roof time and they got us handled all in one day! Looks great and I’m sure it will for a long time. Kudos to Rich for his detailed assistance and Ginger for her assistance as well. Thanks to the crew for the great completion of our job and the speed with which it was done.” – Michael C. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2, 2025
Negative reviews:
“I told the door-to-door reps several times we weren’t interested. They kept talking and pushed me into giving them my information. After I finally got them to leave, they came back to our home twice after hours to bang on our door and call my name to get me to answer. That is harassment. I was half tempted to call the police the second time they came by.” – Rebecca L. ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 5, 2026
“The person sent out to give a quote was late with no communication, then wanted me to sit with them for over an hour to go over options. They worked hard to nail down my commitment to be available and then didn’t show up when they said they would. The tactic seems designed to get prospects to feel connected through time invested — low value, high time, and not respectful.” – Ben H. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ October 13, 2025
Positive reviews:
“Tub to Walk-In Shower remodel. Having never utilized a company such as REMOVED, I was hesitant, suspicious, and apprehensive. Price seemed higher than research had indicated but the end result made it all worth it. Staff, from salesperson through installer, were all congenial and competent. Special kudos to the installer who worked the whole job (except plumbing) by himself and did a beautiful job all in less than a full day. I appreciated the various financing options including a veteran discount.” – Ana S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 11, 2026
“I been with the company for 6 months I have had fun time watching the Marketing department grow. You can make lots of money here with your hourly and bonus and daily spiff money. The managment team is awesome to work with.” – Ray R. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 17, 2026
Negative reviews:
“Two associates came to my door. I politely said I wasn’t interested and asked them to leave — repeatedly. One kept talking and then accused me of being hostile when I insisted they leave my property. He moved away from the door but continued to argue. I told him I was calling the company and would call the police if he didn’t leave immediately. He moved to the sidewalk and continued. I have since contacted the company and left a message with the police. My neighbor witnessed the entire incident and came to check on me afterward.” – Laurie T. ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 8, 2026
“We’ve had countless leaks from the new roof and gutters. The workmanship is at the bare minimum. The lack of communication is beyond unprofessional. High Performance Homes charges more than average for work that is careless and lacking in detail. Don’t waste your time.” – Tiffani K. ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 3, 2026
Positive reviews:
“I worked here for two years and hated it at first — door-to-door work is not for everyone — but over time I actually enjoyed it. The management was really good and the managers genuinely care about their team. It helped build my people skills, and you can make a lot of money. If you’re going to work a door-to-door sales job, I would suggest this one.” – Canvasser ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ April 5, 2025
“I’ve really enjoyed the last 2 years working for HPH. Amazing team-oriented atmosphere with great training and development. I had no sales background before joining but with their training platform I was able to far exceed my expectations. It’s an opportunity to make $200k+ a year and I’m very thankful for it.” – Branch Sales Manager ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 15, 2022
Positive reviews:
“My first roof installation experience with HPH was a positive one. After locking down the details, a roofing crew got it done in 2–3 days. I loved that they took their time and did a great job. HPH strives for 100% customer satisfaction and they got it right with me. Thanks for making this a stress-free improvement to my home.” – Joann Crow ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
“I did a shower remodel — the old fiberglass shower was developing stress cracks after 38 years. The design process had lots of options and was straightforward. The demolition went as planned without any surprises. The install also went smoothly and looked just like the design. Everybody was friendly and did a great job cleaning up.” – Greg Kovach ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
Negative reviews:
“HPH sent two people to my house who ignored my no-solicitation sign and talked over me for 5 minutes while I tried to say no to getting a roof estimate. Every time I tried to politely decline they spoke over me, not even responding to what I was saying. I eventually had to just shut the door. Very disappointing — even if I were interested, I would never work with a company that is so rude when trying to get business.” – Caroline Gschwend ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 2026
“High Performance Homes is the worst business for fixing anything around the house. The contractors are quite irresponsible and don’t know what they’re doing. The new roof and gutters have leaked so many times that we can’t count them. The workers didn’t care about the customer’s property, therefore they ruined our new porch, siding, and shed. We still need to repair our porch. Not talking to each other is quite unprofessional. Do not employ High Performance Homes.” – Tiffani Kundert ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 2026
