“I learned a lot and the foremans gave me the opportunity to actually advance and do things. They didn’t make your job hard, they taught you how to do things. Corrective criticism is needed in an environment with dangers with equipment and other things. Accidents hurt safety doesn’t. I got my certs while working here and my OSHA 10. Depends on who you know, which Foreman you get, and your co-workers. But for me it was great. You get your equipment ready, you get your assignment, and you run your equipment and unload and load. We’ve had radios and those no longer worked and were never replaced. We went from off-road vehicles to patrol unit cars that were terrible and never ment for the environment we were in, we were told to use open John deeres in raining conditions and extreme cold weather. It felt like we were setup for failure, we contently requested better equipment but were always met with “”probably not today”” and today never came.
