“We were interested in solar panels and Jacob Howie came to the door one day. From the start of this process Jacob was helpful, knowledgeable and accessible. He stayed with us the entire time. Anytime we had a question or needed information Jacob always got the information and called me back right away. Even after our panels were installed Jacob continued to be available. “Overall great experience. And let me bring up some of complaints, this is a sales organization. If you dont have an understanding on what a sales organization does, they sell. Their job is to go door to door, a billion dollar industry that does give an opportunity for young men and women to make a living and learn. Now, every rep is not perfect, these reps usually fizzle out. But if you were to actually listen instead of being focused on the youre bothering me mindset you can see that the overall product does actually work. After setting my appointment they followed up and kept all the appointments and my bill went from over $500 during the summer to around $220. These people are not the scum of the earth, they are making a living just like everyone else. And yes, I have worked in this industry and have made a living for me and my family because of the industry. Its hard dang work to deal with people slamming doors in your face day after day and still having the fortitude to wake up the next day and do it again. Every company has bad reviews but all I have to say is BEING OPEN FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVING ONLY 8 COMPLAINTS IS NOT BAD AT ALL! Its actually amazing. You really wanna see bad reviews? look up REMOVEDthe happiest place on earth. Dont base your decisions on reviews from people that are closed minded. “I signed a solar lease with this company based on representations from the salesperson REMOVEDthat my REMOVEDbill would essentially disappear and only be a small connection fee because excess daytime production would offset nighttime use.After installation, I am now receiving a second bill from IID for electricity usage at night in addition to the monthly solar lease payment. This was not how the system was explained during the sales process.I recommend future customers carefully review the actual contract terms and production estimates rather than relying on verbal explanations during the sales presentation. Solar can still be beneficial, but the expectation that your utility bill will disappear may not be accurate depending on system size and usage Thanks IZAIAH!The way this information is sneaked around is they use their tablet for you to initial without you really seeing the verbiage. “Its funny because I find this and the first complaint is the same exact thing that had to us where my sales REMOVEDpromised to pay us to buy out our other solar panels because he was aware of us still being in contract with them. He asked us about the average we paid monthly to them and computed a figure in the 4k range and kept saying when asked the status of the funds that it will be within REMOVEDJan due to inspection delays, the utility company process etc. Well, low and behold its well past this timeframe and my sales REMOVEDthat has been communicating with us up until umm end of last year has disappeared as well. Calls go to VM and text messages undelivered. I attempted to get to bottom of this and was told by our new solar company to reach out directly to Nusun. I found their number on the site, thought I was one step closer to getting a resolution but no. Calls go to VM again and a text is later sent asking how they can help, but when REMOVEDlied back too no further response. “This call center was chaos. They fired the entire floor 4 times. That shows a problem with the managers, not the team. They pretend that they set you up for success and that this job just isn’t for the weak because they just have “high standards”. The reality is the complete opposite. The standard is use fear, manipulation and pettiness. They allow the managers to manipulate and yell constantly. You’re just a number. The bosses do not care about you. You won’t make what the say and they’ll literally mess your paycheck up constantly. They say everything short of sin to win. But they literally are some of the most hypocritical people I have ever met. They petty-fired sooo many people. The managers may run into meetings screaming when you’re on a zoom call with other teams. They may fire you just for going on vacation. They may say things like- just be ruder to them or just be harder on them, when talking with other managers about the team. The management are not good people. “When Abe Brown arrived at my door I had recently started the solar purchase process with another provider who I heavily researched and felt I was getting a solid contract. When Abe Brown arrived at my door he offered to review my contract to ensure I was getting a good deal. Long story short, Abe beat the previous deal so I went with Abe. The process from contract signing to the system being installed and ultimately in service did take longer than expected with different bumps along the way. However any time there was an issue, I was able to contact Abe and he took care of the issue immediately. He not only gave us a great system, he was with us for every step of the process. He did such a good job with my primary residence, I had him give me a quote for another property which already had Tesla solar contract. Abe was able to get me out of my Tesla contract and he paid all the fees associated with the Tesla contract cancellation. He then put his system on my house and I’m now paying less and received two tesla powerwalls which I didn’t previously have. Overall great guy, true to his word and always there when you need him. “We had contemplated solar for years but never liked any of the offers we had, the costs, etc. Our sales rep Alex was very professional and detailed in making the case for Nusun’s offering. After recent years of exorbitant PG&E bills we felt it was time and Alex convinced us it was a great time to do so. No money down and the monthly cost is very reasonable, so far so good! The one thing we didn’t realize was how much you still use the non-solar power grid during cloudy days or winter time, so there are still PG&E bills, but much reduced. Also, the Nusun workers were professional and very effective, explaining all the parts each step of the way – the components are mostly hidden from street view as well. “Nusun solor employees have come to my house several times over the last several weeks. One time, twice in the same day. They’re rude, walk across your landscaping and now twice have woken up my baby from a nap. We have a no solicitation sign posted as we work from home and they ring the doorbell interrupting us during meetings. Ive told them now three times we’re not interested and that they are trust passing and not welcome on our property. Yet they keep coming back. Train your employees to follow rules and laws.
