Energy Design review

Positive reviews:

“One of the lowest quotes I got out of about five, maybe second. But I also chose them from great reviews I heard personally from other customers, the quality of the quote experience, and they were one of the most local options. Jeremiah took the time to answer all my questions patiently and without making me feel rushed. The install finished ahead of schedule, on budget, and the whole crew was friendly. Easy to recommend highly.” – paulenoch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 26, 2025

“They gave us the simplest design at a lower cost than the other two solar companies. They were on time and on budget: two days for the entire project. And they worked to give us the state rebate, while the other two companies were not interested in pursuing. The inspector commented on the exceptional quality of their work. Follow up questions answered promptly. Very pleased. Highly recommend.” – mbartels ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 19, 2025

Positive reviews:

“Had a system installed years ago. They we’re easy to work with, professional and flexible with my needs. System is still woulrking well and has come in handy numerous times during power failures. Would recommend.” – StanleyManor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 3, 2018

“Energy Design did an absolutely top-notch job. The sales person was also the technical manager and really knew his stuff having worked in the field for many years and with many different types of solar systems. The design staff that surveyed the site and came up with the detailed design were also very good – and the design was detailed enough for the installation staff and required no changes. The staff that actually did the installation were excellent – did it right the first time and were perfectionists in their work. One can`t go wrong with Energy Design.” – Faik Ozdemir ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 14, 2011

Positive reviews:

“This company exceeded my expectations. I knew very little about what solar energy could do for our home. Energy Design did a great job of presenting, educating, and bidding the service. From the start of the project, during the actual install itself, and to completion and beyond, they were competent and professional, Highly recommend them.” – Ron B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 2016

“Although they specialize in solar power and energy efficiency, they are also all-around great electricians! Willie and his assistants are very easy to work with, and extremely knowledgable when it comes to anything that uses energy. I would highly recommend Energy Design for any electrical job that comes up!” – Timothy A. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 2014

Positive reviews:

“Our home required a fairly complicated analysis of options and Jeremiah Chavez was just fantastic to work with. He really worked hard and creatively but in the end had to recommend not proceeding because a project wouldn’t make economic sense in our particular and somewhat unusual circumstances. I am rating Energy Design with five stars because the experience was really very positive and it is so important to work with someone who will give you honest information and work with your best interests in mind. I highly recommend contacting Energy Design If you are contemplating a solar project.” – John F. Helmer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2025

“I am writing on behalf of the Umpqua Community Center, a non-profit organization. For the past ~2 years I have worked with Energy Design on installing solar for our center, finishing this past February. They were amazing from start to finish, and so very patient with answering questions and helping to facilitate grant funding. We were very lucky to be Blue Sky grant recipients and Jeremiah was instrumental in us being chosen for this grant by helping me to understand the system details. I had nothing but good experiences with everyone at this company. We interviewed several companies before deciding on Energy Design, but it was obvious that they stood out from everyone else. I highly recommend them.” – Jennifer Gibbs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025

Negative reviews:

“We hired Vince and Jeremiah to install our solar system. Almost a year after they were supposed to be done with the installation, our system still doesn’t work correctly. Buyer beware. I will update this review if they ever get our system to work or when we receive resolution.” – Rich Butler ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2022

“They didn’t return my phone call.” – Brandon Elliot ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2016
