Andrew worked over a year with the insurance company to remove damaged panels so that roof could be repaired, then design & cost replacement system, and install once insurance company agreed to pay. Because of changing technology, it was possible to install a larger system that has provided 100% of my electrical needs since June; squirrel guards were added to prevent nesting under the panels. Andrew handled paperwork so that I got Energy Trust and state tax credits, reducing cost by over $8000. “Five Stars for Andrew and his company! Our original roof-top swimming pool solar system was put in nearly 25 years ago and has saved us countless dollars over many years not having to heat our pool with gas. With a system that old and our roof in need of replacement, we recently called Andrew. He was very knowledgeable about the options and forthcoming about the costs of each. In the end, we opted for all new panels and new controller. Andrew took the initiative to work directly with our roofer to coordinate the work and layout of roof vents which allowed him to increase significantly our footprint of panels on the roof. He timed the work to ensure it all worked with roof installation and the weather. He kept us well informed along the way, showed up at the appointed times, and expertly installed our new system, allowing us to continue to save big bucks for many more years to come. Andrew and his company have installed roof top pool solar systems for some of our neighbors and some friends, and everyone is very happy with him, his company and the quality of work and materials provided. Highly recommended! “I believe that solar energy is important, and I am glad that Andrew is providing that service. However, when I developed a leak in my roof after the installation, he came by to troubleshoot. He spent a half hour applying caulking, and then wanted to charge me $200 for that service, for a problem his company created. He also told me that “that’s why when you purchased the system I advised you to inspect the roof every year and apply caulking where needed.” I don’t recall him saying that, and there is no way I would ever climb up on my sloped roof. The leak recurred despite his efforts, so I contracted for a new roof. The roofers are here today and told me that he installed the system through the plywood of the roof, instead of the rafters, which caused the leak. If you use his or any other company, please be sure to have them work with a licensed roofing company.” – Joe H ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2021
