“We bought a house with the solar already installed and paid for. We discovered we had a roof leak and the roofer needed panels removed. I reached out to Aquilino to schedule a day for them to remove panels. They were able to come the day that the roofer was available and took the panels off waited for the job to finish and put the panels back on. “Could not be better. I have a basis for comparison. I had 1 side of my roof paneled by POWER, another by UNITED SOLAR LLC. UNITED SOLAR was able to install the system in one day (up and running the next) and were able diagnose a problem with the POWER system which has not worked properly since installed and activated 2 months ago. UNITED SOLAR was able to work with a Bluetti battery back up system without a hitch. UNITED SOLAR educated me so I could monitor my system with confidence. Responsive and easy to communicate with. “In business, the most important trait should be communication. The owner, Mark Landgrebe, was not a good communicator during our project. He would text or talk until the project was started and he had his/our money. Then it went days/weeks at a time between communication and always us initialing it. His favorite reply to a text was “sorry can’t talk now”. This is NOT the company to get the job done. Find another company, there are many out there that will actually respect you as a customer. “I installed solar panels with them, it was a mess from the start. After waiting for months to get the system up and running I went through so much chaos. To the point of registering the system thru the GATS System. They never provided me with all the information needed to create the account. I had to basically tell them how to their job. It was so frustrating. They still are missing information that haven’t been submitted to start reporting the usage. I am so frustrated I don’t understand how can people be so disorganized when running a business. “Not a professional team and not very talented team – would not suggest. I went solar with great aspirations and this business made it tough and distressing. The biggest problem? It is obvious that they recruit persons with little or no expertise in the sector. The workers were clearly not trained correctly. The installers seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They screwed up a few of times and had to come back a couple of times to fix things that should have been done right the first time. The communication was no better. Those who asked straightforward inquiries regarding the system or the timetable were given confused or vague replies. If you’re thinking of going solar, make sure you choose a firm that invests in clever, competent personnel. This one doesn’t look like it. “So, it’s time for me to make an addendum here. 3 years later.. When the workers left I was given a name and phone # for any problem. I called him last year 2025 and he politely told me he’s no longer employed by them. He could not help me. So then I called United Solar probably 10 times. Left messages almost every time. I still have not gotten a call back! Now I’m having a huge problem. I have no one to contact.
