“We had a great experience from beginning to end with Impact Solar. We started on Energy Sage so we could get multiple quotes and narrowed it down to two companies. Impact’s sales guy Jeff laid out all the information in an easy to understand way and responded to all of our questions quickly. After choosing Impact, our project manager Michelle was great. She laid out the timeframe for all the stages of the product and kept us informed about how everything was going. The communication from everybody in the company was excellent and they were able to move our installation date forward a few weeks for us which was nice. The owner Rob came out for the initial site survey and was on site for the installation as well. He walked us thru everything that was going on and the next steps post installation for powering on the system and for the NJ state incentives. Overall, it was a great experience with everybody from the company from start to finish. “The entire process with Impact Solar was incredibly smooth from start to finish. Jeff (who we initially spoke with up until contract signing), Rob the owner, and Michelle the project manager were all incredible. I vetted 6 companies before choosing Impact Solar and I do my research. Not only were their prices very competitive, but they are incredibly attentive and respond to message immediately, they are knowledgeable/patient with the numerous questions that I asked, honest, and have been in the business for years. They were also one of two companies that came to our home in person to assess how we needed to modify the trees in our yard for the panels before contract signing (others solely relied on a computer simulation and satellite view of our home). This was important to us before we moved forward. Best of all, Rob the owner was the one who we met with (who also is onsite managing the installation from start to finish), which gave us a lot of confidence. Once we signed, Michelle the project manager took over. Her communication was flawless – immediate responses and took care of the entire process throughout. She came to our house in person twice to handle the inspections post-installation. We also had some frustrations with our tree removal company, which she took the reigns on handling and resolving. “I contacted about 5 New Jersey solar installers for a price of a solar roof. Impact Solar was the cream of the crop. The solar equipment they use is Tier 1 and top notch. “I had been kicking around the idea of solar for a while and then I walked by a solar sales guy at my local Costco. Got a quote and it ended there. The price was astronomical. plus, I needed a new roof. 8 months goes by time to do the roof no choice now. walked by a different sales guy in Costco same company, slightly better quote but still may make sense. So, I started doing more research. I called 9 different companies and spoke to 9 sales guys. Only one that didn’t sound like they were selling me was Jeff over at Impact Solar. In fact, Impact was recommended by the roofer. I almost had a done deal with another company who was decent and gave me some good things to think about. Also helped that their price for better equipment was WAY less than that Costco company (we all know the one). But after speaking with Jeff and him going into more detail and answering every stupid question I had and giving me even more info about things I didn’t think about I decided to take the next step. Jeff scheduled a site visit (had 4 others done already). Rob showed up, Rob is the owner and walked me through everything during the site visit. He also did things others didn’t. “I am very happy with my experience with Impact Solar. I had them install 46 solar panels with 2 Tesla inverters. They even re-routed some pipes in the roof to allow a full and proper installation to get the maximum allowed panels. Their pricing was equivalent, and in the end turned out less expensive, to Tesla. They came recommended by a friend, so if you are comparing a local solar company or a national one, go local! Rob, Jeff and especially Michelle and the team were great throughout the whole process. They handled all the permitting and will help walk you through the SREC registration. The customer service was incredible every step of the way.
