“Price was the best; good panels quality, waited about three months since I signed the contract, which is normal; installed two months ago, installation was on a two story house roof, very smoothly, in one day, panels working fine so far, and about the costumer service, I can say only good things. They helped to get the best financing option. As the power installed was about 16KW I needed liability insurance for one million. Insurers asked me for ridiculous money. “It took months after signing the contract and all that to get the panels installed. Now that they are installed and supposedly producing there is a significant discrepancy between the amount electricity that the Enphase app shows the panels produced and the amount of electricity I am still importing from the grid. I am paying more for the electricity and panels, than I ever was for just electricity. A complete waste of time and money. I have tried contacting their customer support which is sub par. They insist everything is working as it should. So far I have saved $10-$20 month over month from this year compared to last year with the panels. “I do NOT recommend this company at all. They installed our panels incorrectly which caused a leak in our home. They DO NOT acknowledge their contract that states a 25 year warranty against damage and water infiltration at each roofing penetration made by ESD. It further states that they will repair or compensate you for the damage. They do not answer the phone or return emails…. Once they have your money good luck getting them to respond to any issues. “In August of 2024 solar panels broke down. ESD customer service did not properly fix my panels when they are supposed to be under warranty and they are still only producing 50% efficiency. I contacted BBB to put a complaint, now they refuse to have someone come back to my home to fix my panels. I was told to take the complaint down from BBB and they will send someone to my home. Now they’re telling me my service warranty is invalid cause I bought the home from the original buyers. Solar panels were under warranty until I complained to Better Business Bureau. “We signed our contract November 2022 and it is now March 2024 and our solar panels have failed multiple inspections and are NOT operational. In the meantime, we are paying the finance company as well as FPL on a system that does not work. ESD was paid because they falsely provided information to the finance company that the work was completed. Do your research prior to hiring this company! They lack communication and showed up on property several times without ever notifying they were even coming. On one random visit, we were out of the country and receiving calls at 2 AM from them because they were on our property requesting access to our electrical panel…. this then resulted in our power being shut off for over 48 hours and us having to move our house sitter and pup out of the house and food being spoiled, etc… Overall, they’re a MESS and should not be contracted.” – Jacqueline M. ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 27, 2024

“While putting in a filter they installed backwards. Then after correcting it it became very hot. Then the installer said there was no need for the second filter. He said he has never seen a need for a second filter. He removed it and left. I have had issues constantly and the enphase people have emailed ESD Solar numerous times to get someone out to place one. But they won’t respond to their emails or even my calls. “I was promised by the salesman that the system that I was purchasing and that would be installed will produce 104% of my energy needs, which recent bills showed to be in excess of 15MWH/year. The system that was installed is designed to produce far less than that per year. Since installation it has produced less than 35% of my needs. I have reached out to the company on many occasions inviting them to make me whole and to explain why the system I was promised is not what I received. Their responses have been only offers to sell me more panels; not to install what I was promised. And, I am still unconvinced that my system is functioning correctly given how many visits have been required to “correct” your substandard installation of my solar energy system.
