“A M Shine Electric installed our home EV charger, and the experience was great. Because of the way our house and garage were built, we had to dig a trench through part of the lawn and concrete. Shine arranged for and supervised everything, and all the work was done when they said it would be. “I recently contacted this business about installing solar under the California Solar Initiative. The CSI requires that installers apply for rebates for consumers. I got the name of this installer from the CSI website. You would assume that would mean they have some idea of what the CSI is.Apparently not. One of the founders informed me that they have no part in financing and I would have to look into this myself. The emails were less friendly and professional than my prose here. I’m feeling lazy today though. Point is, they probably shouldn’t be listed on the Go Solar website as an installer. UPDATE: She responded that they do help consumers apply for the CSI; apparently, she just felt a compelling urge to tell me they don’t do financing. Interesting, because I never asked about that.They also say “track houses” on their website. It’s tract housing. Not track. Just like how it’s “duck tape” not “duct tape”. “Although they are extremely busy with larger jobs, Joey came over to evaluate our old low voltage light transformer and lighting set up. By talking with him, it was clear he’s an expert in this area and all aspects of electrical work. He offered to replace our transformer with a new one we purchased at a very reasonable price and to clean up some old wiring left over from years of previous work.He was knowledgeable, informative, worked quickly and was extremely tidy.
