“We knew we needed a new roof and this guy Eric at ABP construction comes highly recommended. We called him up and set up an appointment for our roof to be replaced. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took care of everything from start to finish. Customer service is very important to us and we were pretty rude to be honest at first. We don’t like sales people and honestly thought we would go with someone in else that does roofing in our neighborhood. The first guy we called first was more concerned with making a sale and up-selling us than he was trying to figure out what we wanted or even what was wrong with our roof in the first place. It has been so hot upstairs this summer and Eric recommenced we install radiant barrier. He was so nice and even gave it to us at his cost sense we got the roof redone as well with all the hail we have had. We will only use Eric in the future and we hope to see his companies signs more in The TrailS. His number is 469-401-1513 and responds quickly. “I agree with who wrote the same kind of review. I’m about to write they do horrible work. They don’t do what they say. They will threaten legal action on you the second that they leave. He did agree to absorb the deductible and now threatening legal action on me because he’s changed his mind. My girlfriend got a hole in her foot because the nail went through her shoe in through to her foot, I got two flat tires. They left everywhere everywhere extremely unprofessional. The guy is a charlatan bagger. He is horrible. I mean to the extent of I don’t see can face him own his own self every day. He’s horrible. After reading all the bad reviews I’ve read about this guy run run run. Do not use this guy. I should’ve never ever used it. It was a salesman that I liked the owner. Now he’s nothing but a loudmouth person that goes against his word I do not ever recommend this company not for any kind of anything. I’ve heard horrible things from other people. “REMOVEDrecently did a flood job for me. Half my house was flooded with sewage water! REMOVEDand Jase came in the same day and did an amazing job explaining the process of what would happen and how they would go about it. They did everything that they said they would do and some! The adjuster tried giving me a hard time and not paying for my flooring to be replaced. Jase and REMOVEDfought with the adjuster and got it approved! Now i have a brand-new floor, drywall and a new color of paint! REMOVED, the owner of the company even stopped by after the job was completed to make sure that they had taken care of everything. “I strongly advise against this company due to my terrible experience. My insurance company paid them to fix or remove objects in the roofing system but they didn’t, they put profits first. I looked at their work and saw a lot of problems. They failed to replace my drip edge, detach and reset my gutters, paint the drip edge correctly, leave torn shingles and nail pops, and caulk where the underlayment was under the drip edge. REMOVEDeven lied and gaslighted me, claiming they had caulked it. When I showed him pictures he changed his story multiple times. REMOVEDsent a subcontractor who didnt know why he was there, spoke no English, and didnt caulk the entire perimeter. REMOVEDgaslighted me again, claiming they had caulked the entire perimeter. I sent him pictures that proved otherwise. They had to come out multiple times. They subbed out the basic roofing project and it took months to do. I was engaged and always checked their work but the subcontractors showed up without notice, never closed the gate where our dog got out, and ruined my solar lights, in ground sprinkler, and gutters. Despite repeated requests, they never reinstalled my rodent deterrent, which I had to hire a pest control company to do. They also made a supplement for double the insurance claim amount without my consent and sent it to the insurance company, trying to get them to cover unnecessary expenses.The experience was so unpleasant that I told them I didnt want them to return multiple times. This company attempted to charge me extra dump fees, which my insurance had already paid. Surprisingly, given the saturated roofing market, they resorted to such scandalous behavior. Positive reviews may be from uninformed individuals. Everyone I know whos used them had similar experiences. I still pick up trash left by subcontractors, a reminder of their disregard for leaving the property better. To avoid frustration, find a roofing company without a contract.” – J. “Recent Update – I’m now a repeat customer of ABP Construction, and I must reiterate my previous five-star review. They accomplished the most wonderful transformation of our front porch and accents (photos attached). I highly recommend ABP for your construction and roofing needs. We worked with Eric to get a new roof on our home, and he was incredibly professional when helping us understand our insurance options. He was always easy to reach and very responsive to messages. His team arrived promptly, worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner, and they were relatively clean with their debris management. We are incredibly happy with the final product. Due to rain and soft dirt, the team’s heavy equipment damaged some underground drainage alongside our driveway. Eric covered the cost of the repair without question, and this level of professional responsibility is greatly appreciated. “Have had the worst experience with this “company”…as others have said, Run! Would not recommend this “company” to my worst enemies because that would be giving them business. Partly my fault for not looking into their BBB complaints as I had similar experiences like others, where my insurance company paid them to replace or remove items pertaining to my roofing system and they did not. Instead, they cut corners and were going to keep the profit. But I myself am in the roofing world and after inspecting their work, found that they did not replace my drip edge or detach and reset my gutters, paint the drip edge like they were paid to do, left torn shingles and nail pops, did not caulk where the underlayment was laid over the drip edge (which needs to be done if underlayment is under the drip edge). Not only does my drip edge not match the fascia now but they only replaced the drip edge when I spoke up and said that I can only choose between black or grey (drip edge comes in many different shades). One of the many times I inspected the work I found that there was no caulking of the underlayment and drip edge by the “salesman” and owner straight up lied to me and tried to gaslight me saying that they did caulk it, the owner Eric told me he even had come out to my house and looked and when I told him I had cameras he must’ve changed his story at least twice. Eric comes out to my house and I had to show him myself that they had indeed not caulked above the drip edge. He then sends a subcontractor out to fix it only the subcontractor has no idea why he is there and speaks no English. He then does not caulk the entire perimeter like he is supposed to and leaves. I tell Eric this and Eric again gaslights me telling me that they did the entire perimeter to which I send pictures that they didn’t…They had to come out at least half a dozen times. They use a subcontractor to do the work, meaning they do not even do their own work. It was a simple roofing job that took months to complete, and I was so involved, constantly inspecting their work. The subcontractors would show up unannounced and not close the gate in which our dog got out. I requested that CJ or Alex tell me when they were to come out, to which he said he would. But he, of course, did not. The subcontractors broke my solar lights and one of my in-ground sprinklers, damaged my rain diverters on my gutters, and most importantly, I was adamant that I wanted my rodent deterrent put back on the house and was told by CJ that they would. They never did. I had to get my pest control company out to put them back and, of course, pay to re-install the rodent deterrent. At first, CJ was friendly with me, but once I started complaining and having issues, CJ no longer wanted to deal with me. Mind you, he was not even there for 10 minutes the day I got my roof installed, which is why there were so many issues for one. CJ also made a supplement for double what my insurance paid on the claim, without my approval sent it, trying to get them to pay for things that I do not even have. Folks, insurance premiums go up because of thieving companies like this that try to get your insurance to pay for things that is unnecessary and they make off like bandits. It was such a bad experience that I told CJ and Eric both that I did not want them back out at my house to finish the work. They also have awful communication or memory because I must’ve said multiple times that I did not want them back out, and they acted like I never said that…even through text. This “company” also tried to have me pay for extra dump fees, to which my insurance already paid. With such an over-saturated market of roofers, you would think they wouldn’t be so scandalous. The only thing I can think is that the positive reviews are by people that have no idea or experience with this. Everyone I know that has used them has said similar experiences. I’m still picking up trash that was left in my yard by the subcontractors…so much for leaving it better than you found it!
