“I had a failed solar water heater system that needed to be removed. This caused some delay as American Array Solar was not able to complete the instillation in one day as they had scheduled. They were able to remove the existing solar water system, replace many of the Monier Monray Tile roof tiles, and install all the solar panels in that first day. The completed system install is very clean with one conduit coming down from the roof and painted to match the color of the house, One additional conduit from the Tesla Power Wall to the switch box mounted inside the garage directly behind the Service entrance panel. Well, I have proof its shady! Second company I tried to get via energysage. I can’t say I recommend this company nor energysage for providing companies like this to do business with. not to mention I have countless emails asking for updates and changes and they will not respond. “I agreed to go with this installer because of the many five star reviews. I wrongly assumed this would be an indication of the service they would provide. That decision was a huge mistake. To begin with, after taking a hefty deposit, the installers took EIGHT MONTHS to install the system. Then once the system was finally installed, the city would not approve it. They had to go back SIX times before final approval. They demanded full payment the moment the City granted approval. To which I complied and paid in full. Since then, it’s been a nightmare. The system keeps exporting energy to the grid and the batteries are never fully charged. I have called numerous times. They do NOT respond. Finally I called the manfacturer for help. After troubleshooting, the manufacturer discover the system is wired incorrectly. To date, they still have not fixed the problems. My opinion…. DO NOT trust the reviews. Poor communication, discrepancies between sales proposals and contracts, ( i was told that my panels were going to produce so much energy that PGE was going to buy it from me. ) subpar installation quality, lack of responsiveness to customer concerns, and managers or supervisors are never available. I am thinking of taking further action against them. I have Tru-up bill of over $3,000 with PGE, and they said because i am not sending energy to the grid. “It went extremely well! Omar and I designed the system and after nearly one year we achieved the power we designed for. I incurred a minor problem with some panels producing 30% less than their neighboring panels. Adam got on this problem immediately. He sent out his crew to replace these panels, then their inverters at no cost under the 30-year warranty. And, American Array was cost competitive and a little less than 2 other vendors. “I usually don’t write reviews. But this company installed my solar panels a couple years ago. Evreything was running good until I did an upgrade on my panel. Long story short. I’ve been trying to get this company to reconnect me to the app for several months now since I have tried with the troubleshooting they gave me. But just reschedule of appointment after appointment with their technician. When a technician finally came out to do the work he told me he was not touching the system because pg and e had moved the equipment. They left and I’ve never received an answer or a cal back.
