“We are now in our 3rd month of operation with a 54 panel (13 kW) ground mount system from American Solar Power, and we’re delighted! My wife & I interviewed a dozen or so companies and got detailed bids from five companies before selecting ASP for our solar system. The key to ASP is their team — people make all the difference. Tim Pluma (Director of Sales & Marketing) was great to work with throughout the project. He listened carefully to what we wanted, made an excellent proposal to meet our needs, answered all our questions with facts instead of sales pitches, and followed up after the work was completed to be sure everything is working correctly. Our new solar system is now supplying over 90% of our power needs. Our primary contact for the on-site work was Arin (Project Manager), who supervised a great crew from start to finish. They did the work exactly as scheduled, and took great care to keep the work site clean every day. The only “”left behind”” we ever found was one plastic water bottle. I was impressed that Arin and his crew took time to huddle for 2 or 3 minutes several times each day, to make sure that everything was on track and there were no surprises. Our ground mount system is on a steep (33 degree) hillside, which made extra work for them, but they handled every challenge and finished on time and within budget. David (Permit Runner) took care of all communication with the L.A. Dept. of Building & Safety, and with the LADWP. His patience and persistence in working with these agencies played a large part in keeping the overall project on schedule. In the office, Virginia kept all the communication and paperwork flowing smoothly. She made sure that everyone involved was up to date at all times, so we didn’t have to worry. “I am very disappointed on the system I purchased. It states 100% guaranteed. Apparently that’s not true. I have tried with Maira Zuniga and Ops Manager Raymond. I have not received any calls back after leaving a few message. I guess 100% guaranteed not to get back to you. I have not saved any money from my system. True is just a large bill at the end of the year along with a monthly bills. I am 100% unsatisfied with my system and they don’t care. “I decided to finally install solar for my house in So Cal. I had been looking at Grape Solar through Costco. I contacted Karen Sonntag of Grape Solar. She did a feasibility study of my house using special software and discussed my monthly electrical usage. I decided to order and asked for recommendations of installers in my area. She mentioned American Solar Power has received positive reviews from previous clients. I reached out to Steve Roseborough of American Solar Power. He immediately contacted Grape Solar, received the order specs and within 2 days he gave me a comprehensive layout and design and most importantly a very reasonable install price. that’s all I needed to enter into a contract with ASP. After permits were approved, Steve coordinated his crew to be at my house at 7AM. They were there at 6:45. I like that. Install of 20 panels was a full day job on a single story home. The inverter was mounted in the garage out of the elements. The only thing remaining was Southern California Edison’s approval once they received our city inspector sign off. We are 100% impressed with the system. For the month of August our 20 panels have created 1.2 megawatts. The American Solar employees who completed the install were extremely professional, knowledgeable, left no trace of debris or other items and adhered to the Covid mandates. Please extend my appreciation to Surik, Armond, Elmer, Rafael and Stephen. You guys do great work. Steve Roseborough maintained an open line of communication during the entire process. That’s very important. Thank you. I highly recommend American Solar Power for your install.
