“The team is difficult to get ahold of, they do not follow up on promises made, do not show up for appointments (multiple of them), this includes both the sales and installation team. I have been trying to expand my system for over one year and after multiple attempts, have given up on them, apparently they just don’t care about customer service at any level. Thank god the hardware has worked to this point, not sure how bad it would be in i needed something fixed, just can’t imagine. “As a former State Licensed Contractor in another state, I will say this. I paid over 35K to have a 4.9KW off grid system installed. Part of the job was to have a hard wired in home monitoring screen installed on my interior wall of my house by the entry door. When I ask Rob where it was he said it was not installed & that he could install it in my solar control room in my garage. My reply was, why I can just look at my charge controllers if I’m already out in my solar room. As I told Rob the whole reason I got the remote monitoring device was to NOT have to leave my house. So after a heated rebuttal on my part I paid Rob the owner an EXTRA 1K+ just for labor to install the hard wired monitor through an underground conduit. WHAT A JOKE !!! (PART B) A few years later 4-5 & one of the Outback controllers is having issues. After a few service calls I noticed something that I had not seen in a long wile. The service tec. (The Owner Rob) did not know how to trouble shoot the system he installed ! After 3 visits, he did narrow it down to the inverter but had no idea how to fix it. Although he said that he would be back to fix it, Rob the Owner of Assured Solar NEVER called back or came back to fix the problem. I eventually called Outback Controllers & dusted off my FLUKE meter & trouble shot the system over the phone with Tec. support, ordered the part & have had no problems since. As a contractor for well over 20 years I can tell you that not all of my jobs went perfect either, however it’s how you get through the tough jobs that show what type of contractor you are. NOT THE EASY ONES ! I waited over two years to give a review on Assured Solar just to make sure I felt the same way & wasn’t reacting to harsh.
