Belmont Energy review

Positive reviews:

“If you have a pool in Socal, getting pool solar is a no brainer! If you want it done right, there’s no one better than Joe from Belmont Energy. He is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. He doesn’t try to sale you on something you don’t need. He answers my calls right away and walked me through how to use my new equipment. Having pool solar was the best money I’ve spent for the house. My pool was heated to the mid 80’s from April through October off of solar energy! Joe also replaced my old pump with a variable pump which also greatly reduced my energy bill in half. As an added bonus to saving money with the pool solar, its also great feeling that you are helping the environment and leaving less of a carbon footprint in this world!” – quang ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 16, 2013

“We could not be more pleased with the service and professionalism we experienced with Joe Belmont. He did excellent work at our house and answered all our questions. The solar panels have enabled us to swim in our pool 9 months out of the year and our electric bill dropped significantly. These additions are a MUST for any pool owner! Positive reviews:

“We recently had our solar and battery installed with Belmont Energy. Our install became complex because of the placement of each device including the upgrade and relocation of our electrical panel. They were very professional and addressed all my needs throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Belmont Energy!” – Eric C. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 13, 2025

“We have electric solar, pool solar & a new electrical panel install by Belmont. Dan was the sales guy who I meet with to go over all option, set up the deal & schedule. It was a great experience from start to finish. The installation was quality workmanship & product. We did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame for the price they quoted. I am a HVAC contractor so there are the things I look to bring the my customers as a business practice that are important. What more could you ask for? I will be recommending Belmont to anyone who I know that is in need of solar. Good people & good company.” – Patrick S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 14, 2019

Negative reviews:

“In February 2016, I was looking to purchase PV solar especially with NEM 1.0 expiring soon in SDG&E territory. I was not real happy with some of the big name shops so I found Belmont with nothing but 5-star ratings with a company that cares for their customers. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same. I placed two calls and left voice messages but my calls were never returned and so I had to choose another local solar company.” – Bruce K. ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 1, 2017
