What Do Customers Say About the Best Energy Power?
Positive reviews:
“Great company that took the time to go over every aspect of my project.I would recommend them to all my friends and family!” – George K. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 1, 2024
Negative reviews:
“Stay Away!!!! Worst Energy Power more like it!!I have been doing my own research in preparation to get a solar system I have been calling a couple different solar companies in my area. So I called ‘best energy power’ and we scheduled an appointment and they did not even show up or bother to call me and let me know they are not coming, I took off work early that day just for the appointment! So I called the next day and they gave me some wild excuse about how the moron got the times switched up, so we rescheduled for the weekend and to no surprise they showed up almost 2 hours late, again with no phone call to let me know! After there sad attempt of high pressure sales they gave me a quote for almost 5$ a watt fully installed with a bunch of crappy Chinese material! HA! I have gotten offers for top of the line material fully installed for 3$ a watt.So in conclusion this company is a bunch of CROOKS and a MAJOR RIP OFF, there owner Ronnie has terrible customer service skills and I would not recommend this company to anyone.” – John A. ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 15, 2015
Positive reviews:
“Great Company and Professional.” – Ralph Russo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2019
“Great company that goes the extra mile!!” – george kitras ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
Negative reviews:
“We hired Best Energy Power to install a solar system on our co-op building. What followed has been one of the worst contractor experiences we’ve ever had. From the very beginning of the project, the owner, Ronnie Mandler, was a nightmare to deal with — combative without provocation, dismissive, disrespectful, and consistently unprofessional. Communication was difficult from day one, and any attempt to ask reasonable questions or request documentation was met with hostility.During the project, DOB issued a Stop Work Order. Although the immediate safety issue was corrected, Best Energy Power never obtained written confirmation from DOB that the SWO was lifted. Despite this, they resumed work anyway, completed the installation, and even closed out their permit while the SWO was still active.Years later, we discovered the SWO was still open in DOB records. When we contacted BEP asking for documentation proving it had been lifted, Ronnie again insisted the issue was ‘resolved’ but refused to provide any proof, and when we pressed for answers, they completely ghosted us.When we tried—in good faith—to clean up the DOB record ourselves, the City issued a violation and a $16,000 penalty for work performed during an active Stop Work Order. BEP has refused to take responsibility, despite the violation arising directly from their actions and despite contract language requiring DOB compliance and indemnification. We are now being forced to hire lawyers and pursue legal action to recover penalties that should never have existed. This is time-consuming, expensive, and entirely avoidable. We regularly host tours in our building for other co-ops considering electrification and solar. We were already warning people to be cautious about working with Best Energy Power well before this happened. Now we are unequivocal: DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.” – Julia K ⭐☆☆☆☆ January 2026
Summarizing:
Do We Recommend Best Energy Power Services?
Average Performer
Best Energy Power gets the Average Performer badge and works in 2 states, but their third-party ratings don’t go above 4. Local community trust isn’t their strong suit either – their score is 2.6 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Best Energy Power may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Best Energy Power to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.
