I needed to delay the project into 2025 and Bison was completely accommodating and clear in communications. The roof removal and install went very well and the Project Manager was very responsive. “Bison Roofing and Solar installed a new main flat roof with three working roof drains, and also replaced the patio flat roof. The previous roof was water logged with ponding of water and bubbling up of the roof in places. With the new roof, there is no ponding and the roof is nice and dry. Additionally, nice modern looking solar panels were installed on the main roof to power the whole house and heat the pool. My FPL bill that used to be $350 before the solar panels, now ranges between $20-40 monthly! And no need for expensive propane gas to heat the pools. The swimming pool and spa are very nice and hot! “New Roof was put in late 2022. Multiple leaks since then causing interior damage as well. 3.5M house. They have been responsive via phone, but leaks have taken up to 2 months to get repaired. The last repair was going to be done with a guy that appeared like he was on drugs. Owner made a joke about it. Gerardo’s crew fixed, they seem competent. “A company that does not stand by their word and services. We had solar panels installed by this company some time ago. We have had SEVERAL leaks throughout the house since then and a MAJOR leak coming right through my ceiling fan, over my BED ! I have called 3-5x, emailed them and received no response via email and out of the 3-5 calls, I reached someone and they stated that they would have the issue rectified. Lets just say it has been well over a month since those calls were made and no one came out, no one followed up. Save your money and take your business elsewhere unless you’d also like to be rained on in the middle of the night. “OK, I left a truthful complaint after 4 months of Bison’s run-a-round. AFTER complaining to the BBB later that day my issue was resolved. Coincidence (like a bill crossed in the mail) or Bison got to work after I made the complaint. Anyhow, Bison came and fixed my solar and finally got it done to my satisfaction. I should not of had to complain for 4 months to Bison. Then finally go to the BBB but thats what it took. “They overpromise and way underdeliver. For Example:1) When submitting my application paperwork, they took quick screenshots. *** does not accept screenshots, so this was rejected. You would think a professional would know this, but they clearly are not professional.2) They did not look over the paperwork for consistency, leading to another application rejection.3) They will constantly pressurize you for money even when they have not completed work. I experienced this at least 8 times.4)They do not tell you how to work your system and expect you just to figure it out.5)They unexpectedly go on vacation and lie to you, saying everything is good to go when nothing is working.6) My advice is if you go with them, get project start dates in writing before signing any money agreements, and if they do not meet deadlines, make it so a portion of the balance gets taken off for not holding up the agreement.” – Evan O ⭐⭐☆☆☆ July 29, 2025

“I bought a house in 2018 from the previous owner that installed a solar panel system on the roof in 2016 by Bison roofing and solar. I had a minor problem in 2023 that needed to be fixed on this solar panel system. I was extremely satisfied that Bison repaired the solar panel system under warranty at no charge. For anybody, installing a solar panel system and selling the house in the future, this is a great company to work with. They stand by their installations. You get the run around, the “its FPL” story. If you are considering solar panels, DON’T! I’d recommend that you do your homework. These companies make promises and once the finances has been done or the purchased concluded, you screwed.
