Positive reviews:
“My company focuses on refurbishing older homes and updating them for rental units in Southwest Idaho. We just finished our second project with Black Diamond Electric and have been grateful to find a local company that understands our needs. These guys understand what it means to update a homes electrical in a smart, no-waste type of manner. If you need anything electrical related please consider reaching out to Preston or Rob. They also have an in-depth knowledge of solar, battery storage and EV plug-ins for those looking to get off the grid. Hope this helps!” – Sean B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2023
“Black Diamond Electric’s workers are on time, kind and good at what they do. They were really kind and answered all my questions, making sure everything was flawless. Highly recommend to anybody in the Treasure Valley for solar!” – Torrina L. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2023
Positive reviews:
“Black Diamond replaced the meter main and upgraded the interior panel at my house. Robbie has very clear and punctual communication. It was very convenient for them to do the work while I was out of town and Robbie kept me posted on the progress. Thank you!” – Martha Schmidt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026
“I had an excellent experience with this electric company . They added numerous extra outlets in my house and made sure everything was safe, clean and up to code. The guys were professional, came on time and described the task fully before starting which I liked. They also completed a commercial project for my family and it is apparent they have the ability and knowledge to take on bigger assignments promptly. They are highly noticeable in their level of work and their attention to detail is incredibly good. I would highly suggest them for your home or business electrical requirements.” – Britt Davis ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
Negative reviews:
“The service this company has given me is extremely poor. I reach out to them with questions and I never get anyone to answer the phone. I leave messages and never get a return call. The panels are not what I ordered but appearantly that was the deception of the company who sold me the system in the first place. This is the worst company. Not sure why people like them.” – Tami Burger ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 2, 2026
