“We moved into our house about a year ago and noticed we had a leak in our roof. We check a few places for quotes but learned that Blalock installed our solar panels so wanted to check if they also do roofing. Luckily they do both and went with them as their quote was competitive (including reinstalling the solar panels) and knew that they were the experts with handling our solar panels. We met Lenny (Leonard) who managed the overall project on-site as well as Art & Sara who managed the office/follow-ups/payment and with all the contractors we worked with for our house, they were by far the best in class. The roof was done on time and communication was phenomenal. Highly recommend for roofing and solar panel installation. “Received an alert/email from my solar panels (Enphase System) that some/one of my micro inverters was not communicating with the gateway. I logged in and saw one panel that was black-sent an email inquiring about it on New Years Day-the next morning, the company had already inspected my system and ordered the new micro inverted and once it arrives they will call to schedule the install. Like whaaaaaatttt?! Everything happened so fast-so efficient. Blown away with the quality and professionalism I had to make a review. We had our system installed back in 2020. “The solar system works well, but good luck getting in touch with them. Does not answer calls. Messaging is full. Asked for 4 more panels over a year ago. Nothing. Been wanting to add a battery. No luck. Based on my observations and experiences, once they have your money don’t expect any kind of response or service. To clarify- great product, but the service is shockingly nonexsistant. Months ago I actually researched if they were still in business. It appears that they are- but it appears it is for the new customers. I guess a battery and 3 or 4 panels is not worth their time for an existing client. I am stuck. “I called around 4 pm and left a message. Within minutes Nick called back. I told him I needed a ceiling fan installed and wanted to get an outlet at the back of my house so I could have a motion activated light installed. He asked some questions about the existing outlets and gave me a rough estimate. He said he could come out the next morning at 10 am. He arrived 15 minutes early and got right to work on the ceiling fan. He put together the fan and installed it really quickly. Then we went out to check where we could install the light socket. He told me that they have some really good solar motion detectors that I could get on Amazon. He said it would be better than drilling a hole through the mobile home walls, because it’s hard to tell what’s going on in there. I appreciated the advice. He was right. And it showed he had my best interest in mind, and he wasn’t just out to make money. He could have started drilling holes in the walls, but he didn’t. Overall, great job. Honest and very fair price. “The whole process is a big mess. I’m the middle person between edison and Blalock. Blalock does nothing but give me headaches! Wrong address in application(pay extra), delays(almost 1 yr), work quality is horrible. Over a year now and no solar! I’m playing blame games back and forth with both companies! My wife Kim is the owner and we paid in full with a check before project was done. Edison said there’s no application submitted by Blalock.
