“Overall very poor job and lousy customer service. I had a detach and reset done and they never showed up on the day we scheduled the detach. They showed up a day late. Worse, they never showed up on the day we scheduled the reset and when I asked them where they were he said “sorry for the confusion, the next available date is a week and a half later.” I don’t think there was any confusion. I think they are just poorly organized. It was very unfair that when they did not keep up their end of the bargain they bumped me to the back of the line. My panels consistently under performed after they reinstalled them as well. “The BriteStreet team is fantastic. The difference between the first solar contractor we attempted to work with and this company was night and day. The sales process was completely no pressure. They made sure the system was designed at the optimal size for our home and usage. The install was scheduled within weeks, and the team took the lead when resolving code and permitting issues during install, including grounding our water main and installing a whole home surge protector. “We had trouble with the system they installed in the house we bought. First they said they weren’t sure what the code the system was showing was and said they would call us back. A week later we called them. They said they couldn’t honor the warantee that was on the system in our house as we were not the “original owners” of it. ( we bought the house after the solar was installed). They did say they would try and get a hold of the manufacturer, and get back to us because they did not know what the code that was being displayed was. I then emailed Benger the online documentation that I found about the type of system that was installed. He said he would call back within the day or the next day, however, he never called back . My husband called a week later and spoke to a woman who said she would get with Benger and informed my husband that they would try and get a hold of the manufacturer but that if they sent a tech out it would cost us $85.00 an hour. Then they ghosted us again! My husband called the manufacturer directly, and within 2 days we had our new unit. Bottom line, unless you are spending money at this company they will Ghost you.
