After 5 years with no issues, we had to call them because we noticed a leak coming from the water heater panel. It took over two weeks to simply get an appointment. In two instances, they called me back and said they would have to speak to their tech department so they can schedule the service call, a total waste of my time. Once they finally came, the work was performed with no issues; guys did a great job. Two years later I’ve had repeated problems with workmanship that they are slow to respond to. A persistent problem, they just decided to stop returning my calls. I changed to Elite solar and they found the short in the system caused by Cutler Bay. Such a rookie error and dangerous too. The end wire (tail) wasnt capped and it was actually arcing and burnt! “I had solar panels and batteries installed about 4 years ago. It worked well until a few weeks ago. I have called for service and they responded 2 times and fixed it, but now, my power is out again and I cannot reach anyone to help me with this problem. While the installation was good, the service when something goes wrong is lacking. I reached out, and their technician only gave the attic a quick visual inspection and left. No real testing was done. Despite multiple calls over the years, they kept brushing me off. Now the water intrusion is worse, mold has developed, and they’re dodging responsibility. They lied about conducting a water pressure test, and now they want to charge me $300 just to come out again—unless they arbitrarily decide it’s their fault. Worst of all, their warranty clearly states 10 years of labor coverage. Their customer service is a joke: unhelpful supervisor, language barriers, long hold times, and now they don’t pick up at all.
