Positive reviews:
“DC Solar did such an outstanding job on our new solar install! They were so friendly, caring and quick in getting our Solar paperwork completed and sent to pge before the April deadline! They also had our entire system installed, inspected and approved in three days! These guys really are great! They care about what they do and are methodical and provide quality work! We were recommended their company by over 20 people and we are so glad we chose DC Solar! Family owned and small business!” – Alissa K. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 16, 2023
“I used these guys in 2015 and it was from start to finish a great experience. The rep came to our home and walked us through everything. They answered all our questions and left us with everything in writing for us to review on our own. The work was done on time, in a professional manner and the free monitoring system they hooked us to has been great to monitor the output of each module. It’s now 2020 and we are going to use them to install modules on our cabin!” – Kristin H. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 20, 2020
Negative reviews:
“We had panels installed over a year ago. The electrician and the engineer were great. However, the poor customer service and the lack of responsiveness from the owner have left us wishing we had used a different company. Our panels work well, but we have had some problems and many questions. DC Solar has not been helpful. Also, we were sold 8 panels and told that would be plenty. It hasn’t been.” – Claudia D. ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 11, 2017
Positive reviews:
“We received proposals and bids from several solar companies. Although DC Solar Electric was not the lowest price, their proposal was the most comprehensive and offered the highest quality components. There were no gimmicks, no pressure to take advantage of a “special offer” or other typical solar company games. They are a long established, local contractor. The installation was quick, professional and without issue. I would highly recommend DC Solar Electric.” – Geary Lyons ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 2026
“HIGHLY recommend DC Solar Electric! Out of 5 companies we requested quotes from DC Solar was the only one that had a person actually go up on our roof to determine the best placement of the panels for optimum sun exposure. Lifetime guarantee on their workmanship and their panels are made in the USA. They monitor our systema and notify us if they observe a problem and take care of it. We’ve had our system since 2014.” – Oak Tree ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
