“Divided Sky replaced my roof and added solar panels after a hail storm damaged the roof. Will Bowers, roofing, and Matt Darst, solar, were both a pleasure to work with and friendly, honest, and professional. They did high quality work on schedule and were always available to answer any questions. The roof and solar panels look great and it’s exciting to have the solar addition. The panels they install are made in the US, an added incentive. The system comes with an app that has lots of great information, like solar usage and panel condition. They make sure to let you know that they are available for any support needed after installation, too. Right after the roof was installed, there was golf-ball sized hail. “Divided Sky installed our solar system. It included 24 panels and 6 batteries. They were superior in every way! Matt Darst is so hands on as a solar salesman and expert. He is thorough in his explanation but he also doesn’t sell you something you don’t need. He is a straight shooter. Jay, who was the foreman, was awesome as well. I couldn’t help notice how clean and orderly he kept the workspace. It took about 5 days to install and he ran a tight ship while working at our home. He even went above and beyond on precision in the placement on our battery wall. He moved our water hose mount making the whole area look cleaner and better than before. Currently our system is powering our house for almost 23 hours a day and is showing lots of energy going back to the grid. We can’t wait to get our first bill! To top it all off, matt sent a video at completion explaining the system. He’s always super quick to shoot back a text if we ever have questions. Hands down, go with Divided Sky! “For those interested in installing solar systems, this is the company for you. I interviewed multiple Solar companies to find Divided Sky Roofing And Solar. Matt and Louis was the only company to identify the challenging electrical routing that I knew would be problematic once the job started. I found Matt Darst the owner to be extremely friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Divided Sky installed 52 panels on a my tile roof, six batteries and of course, the inverter and the necessary parts needed to operate the system. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated Matt’s updates throughout the process. We actually had to have the City Of Austin and the City of Bee Cave Inspect the system which caused another hoop to jump through. Matt and his team handled it flawlessly. I am also a contractor and his electrician Louis that oversees the installation is one of the best contractors I have worked with. We had problems with one component and he had to show up two different times late in the evening to correct the problem as we had a faulty inverter. I know he was driving a great distance to do that, but he wanted us taken care of and I appreciate it so much.
