My system required engineering and more planning than a basic system.They are also experts with all of the federal and state incentives or rebates. All of this process was handled with a breeze by E2 Solar, Inc. “Got a quote from this company in January to do a 21kW solar installation. Worked to get a bank loan for the sizeable project, and after all the work to get the loan secured, can’t get E2 to call back. Have called numerous times over the past 6 months and had no return phone call. Very frustrating to work with someone who won’t call you back. All I needed was them to update the proposal so I could sign it, but apparently they don’t want the work. “My experience with E2 was good until they decided they couldn’t honor their warranty. We had our system installed in 2017 and they did come out and replace the Solar Edge inverter when it began to fail, however a few days later the new inverter stopped communicating with the Solar Edge servers (so we weren’t getting any data). They decided to charge $600 to run a cat5 cable from the inverter to my router! It had been using cellular for the past 4 years. I was shocked but remained civil. When I questioned a theory Solar Edge was providing, E2 said I called them a liar (I didn’t) and informed me that they would no longer support me. They are claiming that their warranty was only for the installation and not for individual components!?! When I contacted Solar Edge about that they laughed and said they have no way to send technicians to residential sites, instead relying on the system integrator (E2 in this case). Hmm, makes sense to me.Anyways, I would stay away from any company not willing to support a system that should last 20+ years” – Ed Anady ⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2022
