What Do Customers Say About the EDF Renewables?
Positive reviews:
“I have to say that pretty much from first interaction till transfer of SEG export completed its been a pretty positive customer experience. Even when the first CS person mistakingly out the wrong door number on my account the 2nd CS person sorted it all out immediately. Switching electric import was seamless, then switching to smart EV tariff and finally sorting the SEG export. Nathan from the SEG team reached out to finalise that part. Top notch customer service whenever I’ve emailed or had to call.” – Jody ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2, 2026
“Called in light of receiving an email about my lack of electricity meter readings. We have a faulty meter that needs replacing. Brad was so helpful, explained where we were in the process and immediately organised an engineers visit to replace the faulty meter. He also recommended we submit our latest meter reading, which we did. Staff are always supportive and helpful whenever I’ve called and Bead carried on that trend. Many thanks” – L Dean ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2, 2026
Negative reviews:
“I finally have confirmation that EDF have not been entirely honest with me. Nothing wrong with today’s operator, he did very well in dealing with the call. During the call I have decided that I will not be renewing my contract with them” – Simon Slater – Cannon ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 2, 2026
“I have had no smart meter readings from my gas meter for over a year since I have been with EDF. They arranged a n engineer visit about a year ago. the problem was not resolved and I have contacted them again to get this sorted. Had and engineer booked for yesterday so had to stay in waiting. No-one turned up. No phone call or apology. Contacted them today and am told the engineer could not find my property. Strange how they find it for billing! It is not difficult to find and they had a phone number. Have been on the line to MPAAS today. Another joke . So much noise in the background it is almost impossible to hear anything being said. They said I was being escalated to a manager. I’m sure I just got passed to the colleague sitting in the next chair. A lot of clowns in a circus in my opinion.” – Mark Shannon ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 2, 2026
Positive reviews:
“All in all, I had a really good experience. The staff was pleasant, collaborative and open to new ideas which made the day to day job pleasurable. There was a decent variety of things to do so I got to learn and improve but still kept it entertaining. Although there were some busy periods, management provided clear guidance and support. Overall, it was a rewarding and motivating environment that encouraged both personal and professional development.” – Anonymous ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 7, 2025
“Working as a contractor through EDF Energy had many pros and cons. The cons being long hours and not much time off but this came with great experience and also perks such as excellent wages.” – Nuclear Power Station Operative ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 6, 2019
Negative reviews:
“The worst company I have ever worked for. Do not live by their values, I’d actually say they are the opposite. Poorly organised, changes not communicated, lied to by management. Everyone out for themselves.” – Anonymous ⭐☆☆☆☆ December 18, 2025
“Just run away probably the worst experience I have ever lived. You understand why everything goes wrong at EDF. Management is just here to undo what you have done…” – Responsable de l’audit interne ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 30, 2025
Negative reviews:
“Any company that operates the way this company operates…deserves NO stars!!!! They have completely destroyed our beautiful community! I lived in a quite section of Texas, rolling hills and beautiful views, and thanks to their “”Neighbor against Neighbor”” tactics that they use, our beloved neighborhood is ruined by these 400+ foot monstrous wind turbines! Since I did not want them in my neighborhood and did not lease them any of my land, I had no say so as to where the wind turbines are placed…so I now have a spinning 400ft monster 1100 from my front door…and I couldn’t do a thing to stop them!! I ask that anyone that is approached by this company to run the other way! They will use you and then be off to ruin the next town!!!” – Texas Resident ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2017
