“if I could give ten stars, I would. The technician, Dee, they sent to my sons home to repair his heating system was so professional. He came to evaluate the system and told me the unit was a 1984 unit and must be replaced as it was emitting CO. He immediately changed his schedule and in two days time the home had a new furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater. The entire time Dee never stopped working. “This guy is HORRIBLE, he scammed us out of so much money, besides being overpriced, he sold us something we didnt need, we still have the same problem we called him to correct, and he was only willing to give us $180 back out of $5000! And still didn’t correct the problem. He did come back numerous times to try to correct the situation and everytime it was a different excuse until he finally figured out the issue and that when he gave us 180 back and we were stuck with equipment that still didn’t help our problem. “Unit and zoning never worked as promised it would. Kjelshus admitted the unit was too small for our house and this was the first house his zoning didn’t work in. He had manufacturing company factory personnel in to look at it & they concluded the unit was switching to the low side to protect itself because the high side couldn’t keep up. The zoning required a few holes to be made in the finished ceiling to be no more than 5-6″ sq. What we got was 12 (14x14x24″) holes. Many that have nothing going to them as their tech missed the ductwork. In 6/07,7/07,8/07 unit could not cool house. We were informed that the unit will shut itself off if it runs too long. The man didn’t live up to his promise of correcting our cooling problem. He replaced our old ac with a very expensive system that is 1/2 of what is needed. I would not recommend this company or the manufacturing company and to date I still have an ac that doesn’t cool my home.(9/28/07)” – NANCY G. ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 2007

“My central air had not cooled well for a year or two. Kjelshus was the sticker on the unit, so I figured might as well call them. The tech came out and took some readings. Basically told me the system was working as designed. In my humble opinion, working as designed means the system can cool the house when it is 85 degrees out. Apparently not. The tech must have called back to home base 4 or 5 times during the visit…maybe legit but gave me the impression he didn’t really know what he was doing. I got a bill for nearly $100, and no improvement in the system or advice on where to go from there. They never followed up, etc. Very, very mediocre service at best. “The tech came out and left my damper completely closed for the main level at my home and it took over 60 days for the parts to arrive for a simple damper. My electric bills went through the roof. I wouldn’t let these guys in your home unless you want them to make the situation worse. They still charged me $299 and did absolutely nothing, other than triple my electric bill. “Never use this company! I paid to have 2 visists since my AC stopped working. It took them over 2 weeks for me to talk to someone and get a quote (it was 90 -100 outside). I had to hire another AC comany that could come out ASAP and fix my unit. This company got my ticket order mixed up with another person, and when I finally talked to someone they just wanted to sell me an entire new unit.
