What Do Customers Say About the EverBright?
Negative reviews:
“Really bad company to work with , they lied over so badly we are stuck with paying lots more money than the sale man said we would be paying !!!” – cristabel s ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 27, 2026
“Feb 17 2025 As with all other complaints with Everbright LLC the thing hat angers me most is I never saw OR signed the 95 page contract with them. Finally received a copy of the contract 6 months after instalation. Signatures were forged or done by autopen. Our bills have doubled and continue to pay high PG&E rates along with yearly increases to Everbright. All communications have resulted in the company refusing to help us, stating our system is working to specs. (That they determined!)They only installed 10 panels and another local solar company stated we needed at least more reading other complaints, we have the exact same problems as others. On Gods green earth, I have no idea why fradulent companies who prey on the unknowing are allowed to continue. We have consulted with an attorney and the stated that since we waited so long, compensation would be expensive and lengthy in California” – steven l ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 17, 2026
Positive reviews:
“Having battery back-up is the best way to utilize solar. I love my system and have a large credit on my electric bill for emergencies. I have never regretted getting this system.” – Diana Erickson ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
“Very satisfied with the whole team at Everbright and highly satisfied with Sales Rep Cody Hamel. He has called and followed up many times even while on vacation to insure everything went smoothly.” – Catherine Nehring ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
Negative reviews:
“When the people came to talk to us about solar, it sounded like a good deal. When we signed up for solar, nothing was said about paying it 25 years. I’m 79 years old and on a fixed income. Do you think I’m going to leave long enough to pay this off? After a couple months we decided we didn’t want it anymore, I was told I had 10 days to decide if I really wanted this. Now it’s been a year and my light bill for January was $328.80 and February was $315.02. The payment for Everbright is $314.00 plus a late fee $9.11. I made a payment of 323.11 in January and they still want another payment for January. I repeat I’m on a fixed income so which payment do you think I’m going to pay. Can’t afford both. I have been asking them to come and remove all the solar screens with no success. I wish I could let the public know about this company.” – Gilda Leigh ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 2026
“We have had our house under contract 3 times now and it falls through every time because everbright is either rude to the buyers during the transfer or they refuse to type a simple email the title company is requesting. They tell you to reference the contract. Which my issue is not in the contract. My title company is asking for an email from everbright stating that once the buyers close on the house, that everbright will file the UCC1 and UCC3 with the county. We paid the prepayment balance of 36K to sell the house and transfer the solar to buyers. Literally a simple email like this to prove to the title company it’s going to happen. They refused and now I’m about to fall through on my sale again. Dealing with this for over a year. They refuse to do anything. The steps of how the UCC1 and UCC3 filing goes once the home sells is nowhere in the contract or purchase agreement. This is ruining my life by them not sending an email to my title company that would take 10 seconds” – Cody Hodge ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 2025
Summarizing:
Do We Recommend EverBright Services?
Average Performer
EverBright gets the Average Performer badge and works in 1 state, but their third-party ratings don’t go above 4. Local community trust isn’t their strong suit either – their score is 3.1 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While EverBright may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add EverBright to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.
