“We had solar panels installed by FOR Energy. They installed several solar panels onto our roof and did a very professional job. The information from the office personnel, and from the solar panel installation group was as good as it gets. We were told of every step as we progressed through our conversion to solar. “I met a ForEnergy sales rep at the Mesa Swap Meet. He asked me some questions about my home efficiency, I responded, he invited me to have a free energy audit performed, I asked him how much services normally are after the audit, he said a couple hundred dollars (spoiler – It was actually several thousand). Let’s start with the good parts about my experience, although there are only few. The rep who performed my initial free audit was very thorough, climbing through my attic and taking lots of pictures and giving me a thorough breakdown of the services offered. For being Free, I was highly impressed with the service I received so I decided to move forward. And had ForEnergy delivered on the services that were described and contracted, I likely would have been very satisfied. I had contracted for new insulation and an Aeroseal duct sealing, since 2/3 of the duct’s in my attic are not accessible due to being a flat sonaran roof. The Aeroseal service is not cheap, which I knew up front, but I choose to pay for the service since there was no viable alternative with a flat roof. I was assigned a Project Manager named Nick. Nick seemed perfectly pleasant on the phone in advance of the scheduled service, but the first red flag was when the day of service arrived and Nick did not show up. Two ForEnergy technicians who did not speak much english showed up as well as the Aeroseal technician. The Aeroseal technician performed and inspection of my attic vents and determined that my ductwork was not suitable for Aeroseal and that, rather than waste my money, he would cancel the seal. I agreed and thanked him for his honesty and then called Nick. Nick did not pick up so I left him a message, he called me back about an hour later and said that unfortunately the two ForEnergy reps on site had gone ahead and started ducttaping around my vents manually since the Aeroseal guy left. I argued and argued but he refused to refund my for the Aeroseal, so instead I paid a massive fee to have duct tape on my air vents, something I could have done myself in 10 minutes for free. The next day, the insulation guys showed up. They were also not from ForEnergy, they were a subcontracted insulation vendor, so any Facebook ads that state how ForEnergy does “everything in house” is just a blatant lie. I have no issues with the insulation install, although, had I contracted directly with the company instead of through ForEnergy, I would have saved at least several hundred dollars. After the service, ForEnergy issued me a report of how they “increased” my homes energy. They give my home an energy efficiency rating, in which 1 is a very efficient house and 7 is “serious leaks”. I scored 10.7. In summary, I paid ForEnergy several thousand dollars for them to slap some duct tape on my vents, contract to some other vendors, and “increase” my home’s efficiency to an off-the-chart terrible score.” – Brad ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 6, 2024

“I signed up with them for a free energy audit through work. First appointment they had to reschedule. Ok. Second appointment they made. In person with my wife Tracy there, we scheduled the follow up. We were told we would get a confirmation courtesy call the day before. Well that day I was in meetings and missed the call. I didn’t think much of it cause I had the appointment. Day of the appointment, about 10 minutes before, I get a call asking to reschedule. The reasoning was I didn’t confirm. Confused and embarrassed I agreed. Hung up. Listened to the vm from the day before…it was the salesmen asking to move the appointment up, and if I couldn’t they would be ok it would still be at the original time. I called FOR to discuss, but of course, no one answers phone so I cancelled via vm. He also recommended things I can do myself that are quick easy fixes. One thing you dont expect from a company is to fix a problem he wasnt even there to consult on. “I replaced my windows back in 2017 with FOR Energy. I felt compelled to write a review years later after a recent experience my neighbor had with their new windows. They had a different company replaced their windows and during these intense rains found that the windows were not that great. They noticed 2 of their windows fog up in between the 2 panes of glass. “Aggressive employees trespass REMOVED won’t leave when asked during door to door sales. They bang on windows, yell through doors, use demanding tone that you speak with them, use phrases like “i have a notice for your name” even when told to leave. They continue to come back over and over even with posted no soliciting and no trespassing signs clearly posted, they state “they will be back”. “I hired For Energy to seal my ducts and check how energy-efficient my home was, but I was very unhappy with the results. The sales process was dishonest. It started with a quote that was too high and a clause in the contract that required a social media post for a discount, which was presented as an incentive to sign up on the same day. The scheduling was bad, and workers showed up much earlier than expected. The first evaluation showed that my ducts were too leaky for the promised treatment, which the salesperson didn’t mention during the sales consultation. Even though they knew my attic had just been insulated, the workers said they couldn’t do the job because they couldn’t get to it. This left me with an HVAC intake grill that was not properly aligned and reattached. To make things worse, their carelessness during the pressure test made a mess in my living room, with soot from an open fireplace all over the place. It was terrible how little attention to detail the company paid. They charged me for half the work even though they didn’t do anything, which was even worse. Based on what I’ve seen, their offer to fix the grill seemed like a hollow gesture. It’s clear that this business cares more about growing than about making customers happy and doing good work. “Place seems cool to work for at first, the installation team isn’t even a team, no one talks to nobody over there not even the lead, your better off not asking for help because if you do you don’t know what your doing. If your hired here you should already have another job lined up because they will fired you anytime they want, try to keep your tools clean because if you get fired you will get charged for the tools. If you can’t get the job done in a certain time limit you will get fired. Being on time really doesn’t matter, all leads are late every day. They will push you to be here on time every day though. “This is place is all about the sale!!! I’m 9 days now in AZ on 12 day 90 degree streak without AC in upstairs portion of my home, pregnant wife and son enduring it with me. I purchased two AC units installed March 23rd 2021. April 3rd I noticed a unit was out. Monday morning I got a hold of For Energy they sent a AC rep out to diagnose problem. A new motor blower was needed on a brand new Trane unit. New part was ordered and when technician returned the new motor blower did not work. For Energy offered no cooling solutions, compensation, and barely followed up. Any communication I got was from me calling project manager and technician, best case they returned my call.
