What Do Customers Say About the Full Spectrum Solar?
Positive reviews:
“We are nearly nine months into having our solar panels on our roof and find it exciting to see the offset to our carbon footprint. We decided to get an EV when we installed solar panels and it feels like a double win. Ron C, our project manger at Full Spectrum Solar is very responsive as we learn about our system through the seasons. We also installed heat pumps and our summer cooling has changed dramatically with the heat pumps and solar panels. We don’t have a full years worth of data yet, so it’s too soon to tell the exact payoff. We can tell you that we are trending to payoff the systems sooner than we anticipated. Overall we are very satisfied with the tax credits and rebates to make these green energy strategies winning solutions financially and more importantly for our climate footprint.” – pulvermalice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 19, 2024
“We were the first in our neighborhood to put panels on our roof and we haven’t looked back. Full Spectrum was one of 3 vetted by Renew WI so we limited our search to those. They were also the only company of the 3 we interviewed that had a fish eye lens and took the time to go into the attic. By having a local presence, we knew they’d be there if we ever needed them.” – ccrosby80033 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 15, 2024
Negative reviews:
“If you want an installation that is not tied to the grid, Full Spectrum will turn down your project. They were friendly and responsive, but they are limited in their offerings.” – phillip ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 26, 2024
Positive reviews:
“We had a home installation that went very smoothly. Mike from Full Spectrum assisted us with applying for tax credits and in our hookup with the local power company. Things were seamless and we are currently up and fully functional. Staff was friendly and efficient and costs were as predicted. We are very happy with the results so far. Installation was in late December so we are about 3 months out.” – mrolli ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 17, 2016
“We sought a couple of bids and Full Spectrum was competitive, professional, and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I especially appreciated how well Mark Joyce stayed in touch, explained programs like Focus on Energy, and informed us regularly about the process and progress, They also showed creativity and flexibility in terms of working with a neighbor and re-purposing existing wiring to save $$. The system exceeds my expectations, particularly in terms of all the data the micro-inverters feed to an on-line system that lets us all monitor its performance. Why aren’t more people doing this?” – dmwaller ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 28, 2015
Positive reviews:
“The process went fairly well. The full cycle from my commit (deposit) to completion of job was about 4 weeks. The panels/inverter were installed in about 3 days. There was a 10 day wait for the AC hookup which took about 1 1/2 days. The company helped with all paperwork. Response was quick and thorough.” – Alarik R. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2007
“From the start the project engineer (I worked with Mark W.) and anyone I interacted with were courteous, informative, professional and efficient. The entire process to identify if the site qualified for a system (shade, sun aspect, roof strength, etc.) through to final hook up takes several months and I was satisfied with the entire process. The decision to install a PV system starts with an analysis of current electrical use to size the system appropriately. We added a complication by asking the project manager to calculate how many PV panels we’d need to add to charge an electric vehicle three times a week. That was added that into the calculations, projections and return on investment analysis. The ROI analysis was easy to understand and, from my perspective, reasonable and realistic. Throughout the process our project manager kept us informed, and walked us through paperwork to get utility rebates and group buy discounts. We further complicated the process by adding a “time of use” meter and upgrading the line to the street to 200 amp service and Full Spectrum helped coordinate that installation with our utility. They also worked well with the electrician we hired (Prana Electric, see review) to upgrade our house panel to 200 amp service and connect the solar system into the panel. I would hire Full Spectrum again, and highly recommend both the company and it’s partner, MadiSun which helps educate and enroll people in solar installations.” – Joshua F. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2016
Positive reviews:
“We were very satisfied with the installation of our solar panels. All of the Spectrum employees at our home were knowledgable and friendly and the installation was done earlier than had been promised. The explanation of the system was through and easy to understand and the app makes it easy to see how much electrical power we’re generating at any point in time. We will certainly recommend Full Spectrum Solar to anyone who asks about our system.” – Rob Stroud ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
“I cannot recommend Full Spectrum highly enough! Several years ago, we initially attempted solar with another company and ended up cancelling our contract due to a myriad of issues. We had some concerns about that happening again, but Ron and the Full Spectrum team EXCEEDED all of our expectations. They were more affordable than other local providers, and delivered on every commitment they made to us through the sales process. If I was able to give them extra stars on this review I would. You can’t go wrong working with the folks at Full Spectrum – they take pride in what they do, and how they do it.” – Ryan Hale ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
