“I cannot begin to express my frustration with this company. I bought a house that had a solar installation from Fuzion. First, it turned out they never got it permitted. They did fix that, eventually, but later, the system stopped working due to corrosion (because they installed aluminum MPPT boxes and we are near the ocean, and it was Fuzion’s fault that they chose this configuration) and even though it was under warranty they first insisted that I send them a lot of personal financial information relating to my purchase of the house and then they simply ignored repeated phone calls and emails asking them to repair the system. If you like cleaning up after workers, getting rid of unwanted materials left behind, and repairing damage to your home and yard then by all means hire these guys!! “Fusion Energy came to my house asking if I wanted to add additional solar panels to my house. They worked up a quote and even offered a $1200 rebate if I sign up then. I signed-up, but I never received the rebate. The salesman, Joe Andrews, kept promising he would check on the rebate and let me know. He never came through, and it’s been almost a year. Fuzion promised to paint the conduit to match the color of my stucco, which the never did. They did no install the panels as originally laid out. When I asked why, I never got a response. In addition, I caught one of their employees urinating in my back yard on a Ring camera immediately after they arrived to start work. “I would choose zero stars but that wasn’t an option. Highly frustrated. We had solar and artificial grass added to our home a couple years back. Everything seemed to be going fine during the whole process. We decided to put a bigger system then they recommended due to adding a pool a year later. Now to the problem. Last summer we had a leak that needed to be repaired due to their solar bracket. Company came out and stripped the solar. Issue after issue came from employees and failing to match our roof tile that were broke. We finally reached out saying we would have our attorney get ahold of them because it wasn’t getting finished. They then got out there and buttoned it up. This caused us to lose a month and a half of solar production in some of the best producing months. Come true up time we now have a $2700 bill. We have now reached out to our sales agent which no longer works for them. He is trying to help get us reimbursement but is having no luck. We have made multiple calls and emails to get this sorted out. Fuzion dropped the ball and now we have to pick it up. If you are looking into to solar please do your homework. With our first install we had a mild issue with an unsightly piece of conduit near the panel that he was quickly able to rectify to our satisfaction, and with our second install, we had a piece of equipment fail, and it was replaced before we ever realized there was a problem! ****** told me that their wireless monitoring alerted his team to the issue, so they were able to dispatch the replacement equipment & labor without me initiating the request. “There are a lot of solar options around and Fuzion is one of the best for their quick processing and response to customer needs. I recently had more panels installed to accommodate our lifestyle and the process was quick and painless. Fuzions promo even helped with my previous true-up cost and they assisted in rerouting an outlet for my electric vehicle. There sales staff dont push as they communicate facts and let you determine the value for yourself. “We have had problems with Fuzion from the beginning. First the guy miscalculate how many solar panels we would need. It ended up costing us another $8,000 to get the correct amount. Then the backup battery did not work, and it took a couple months of calling once a week before they finally returned my calls. Then it took several more months to replace the battery. The technician who installed the new battery said it would not work with the inverter they gave us, but the company said the inverter was working just fine. Next our power went out and the battery only powered 2 locations that we did not ask for. When power returned to the neighborhood, the system prevented our home from having our power returned. All their employees are friendly and polite, but no one seems to be able to figure out how to make our system work right. “Our system that included a battery was installed in 2020. The installation was months later than promised and I never received any instruction or information on how the system works or what to do when it fails. Several components have failed over time and it always takes weeks, sometimes months to get someone out. To be fair the technicians they finally do send out have been very good and helpful albeit theres still a lot about the system I dont understand. One of the technicians gave me instructed me to be sure and turn the battery off while having electrical work done. Most recently I turned the battery off while we were having work done on our pool pump as I was instructed by a former technician. When the work was complete I turned the switch back one but the battery did not come back online. After a few days I called Fuzion for help. Called on a Monday and was told that they would get back to me in ***** hours. Having not received a call by Thursday I called again and was told Id probably get a call back on Friday. Late Friday afternoon, having not received a callback I called again. The receptionist was nice she assured me that shed left messages with the appropriate person. She apologized and put me on hold to talk to the person that should have called. Never got to talk to that mystery person but was told they could schedule someone to come out in 10 days. So if youre thinking of doing business with these people and follow-up after installation is important to you. “Fuzion Home Services is by far the worst company I have had the displeasure to work for. They hire you with one title and then, bam, you’re overloaded with work wearing many hats. If you fail to perform in a task in which you’re poorly trained, you will be constantly told, “If you don’t do the job, we will find someone who will.” Their motto? Sink or swim and not a single one of the three Stooges running management offer assistance in helping you succeed. They run from the customers that they lie to; they talk to employees like dirt; and they operate in such a way that the labor board plus the corporations that they do business with should actually know who they’re dealing with. The legality of their business and operations of such is questionable. Questionable is putting it lightly because I have seen what they do behind closed doors. Dishonesty is their only policy. They think they can’t find a good team to work for them, but fail to realize that they are the team not worth working for. The turnover rate is ridiculous and the one team member that’s had any longevity has mostly worked from home. If you start, beware that the honeymoon period is about 6 months and you’ll feel great, but shortly after that– whether you’re in the office, sales, call center or in the field installing (something management has never done)- you’re not worth their brand new cars, boats, trucks, and trips, and are 100% expendable. Those three will make many mistakes and throw everyone else under the bus. Those eggshells aren’t worth the stress and PTSD you will acquire.
