“It was a pleasure dealing with the Green Wave Solar team. Creighton got us all set up and was able to explain all the details and the operation of our specific system, making it so simple. The Green Wave install team was knowledgeable, professional and very neat and clean (surprising as we always expect to have to do a lot of cleanup after various workers leave…not so…they cleaned up after themselves!). While the entire install team was great, we can’t say enough about what a dedicated worker Carlos is…to call him an asset is an understatement. As for the system, it’s been great. This past (very hot) summer, our electric bill was about 70% less than our neighbors…this was on our initial install of 22 panels (July 2021). We were so pleased we just had them install another 14 panels and additional batteries (January 2023). Our output now is even more amazing. Also have to mention that we live in Memphis…with Green Wave being based in Nashville (probably 4 hours away), it was no problem with them coming right out to make a few tweaks to the initial system we had installed (swapping out Generac snap components a few times). Since then it’s been running so smoothly and it’s been so nice to still have power during the few power outages we’ve had. Great company, great service, great people and it seems Generac has gotten their snaps components fixed so now we can honestly say great product. “They came out to fix my solar panels which was covered under warranty from Generac. The Generac warranty states that they will reimburse for transportation up to100 miles and all Generac product that are under warranty. However, GW wanted a $800.00 to come out and review my Generac system. After reviewing the system, they stated that it needed to have new parts that were covered by the malfunctioning and that they would be back to install them. After months of waiting for them to come back and install the new parts, they finaly showed up. The repair personal that they sent had no information of what was needed to be performed, and no notes from the previous inspection. They swapped out the parts that they were sent with. The assuming that this was the issue. Once they left they did not make sure that the system was working and the issues were properly fixed. After months of trying to get them to return, to fix what was not properly fixed they sent me a outlandish release of liability that, basically stated if they broke anything or caused any damage to the Generac system, they would not be responsible.
