“After Hurricane Sandy, we decided to install a permanent generator. Because of the large trees in our area, our electricity service was interrupted often, at times for days. We shopped for options and decided on a Kohler unit from Guerrera. Installation went as promised; timely and professional. Over this last weekend we were again looking for an electrical contractor. “MISERABLE experience-spare yourself & use another electrician! We used this company for a large job; the communication was unbelievably bad at every stage. The owner wanted a $2000 deposit before ever coming to our house. When their crew left early (missing a part) on installation day, he started harassing us for full payment & made our attempts to discuss installation issues impossible by screaming & bullying as a socially inept child might act. The crew were fine & able to express themselves as adults & competent businesspeople; the owner was unable to do so at any time. Guerrero & Sons is their local installer and Sal came out, examined my house and discussed my needs and gave me a quote within a day. Domenic, Ben, Roland and Jacob did a great job with the installation process which involved both gas and electric hook ups. Everything was tested and they did a thorough job cleaning up. While I hope I won’t need this generator much in the future, PECO just informed me that they are doing tree work tomorrow and “may” shut off power for several hours.
