“GVEC cuts electricity off claiming they sent emails to notify their customers when they didnt. If you get your REMOVEDcut off, which would obviously mean youre struggling to pay the bill, not only do you have to pay a $100 reconnect fee, but they will charge you an additional $200 on any upcoming random bill as a security deposit. So lets charge a single mom an additional $300 to her already ridiculously high bill that she is struggling to pay. That makes sense right? On top of that, you can only extend that out one month so they dont even work with you on payments lol. They are awful. REMOVEDis so much better. If you can avoid using these people, do it. “They installed my solar panels and things were good till a warranty issue came up. The supplier sent the warranty item and GVEC said they didn’t receive it even though the supplier had proof. Then REMOVEDsaid it was the part needed and tried to charge me around $700 for them to do it their way. I had to get the BBB to help get GVEC to provide the service that they were supposed to. The supplier helped by saying the part was covered and that GVEC needed to install it. The supplier also said it was GVEC job to contact them not the customer. “The first six months was really fun to work at gvec .NET Department but once the new supervisor came along she made that department not fun to work for .She had her few guys she like that she hired did not like the older guys that she didn’t hire stay away from gvec .net department.
