What Do Customers Say About the Hawaii Unified?
Positive reviews:
“These guys, Victor and his crew.Kingston,Richard, and Bradley did a great job installing my dryer hose. After a super bad experience with Best Buy and Geek Squad, they hit all the marks for timely text/phone communications, technical expertise, friendly and professional. They even went to Home Depot to get an additional part. Ten stars!!!” – Leland M. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 22, 2025
“Andrebb, Jonathan, and Keoni came over to install a new range in my kitchen. They did a terrific job as well as an efficient one. They showed up on time, put in the new appliance, took out the old one and carried it out for disposal all in a little over an hour. I highly recommend their services.” – Jonathan S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 5, 2025
Negative reviews:
“I’m not one to complain but Hawaii Unified is the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I’m lucky to have settled my case with the loan people. They (Goodleap) did awesome job investigating in my case. I would advise anyone who are interested in getting residential solar to look elsewhere. Owner and staff are a joke.” – Michel P. ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 2, 2025
“I would never recommend signing up with these guys for Solar installation. the electric bill hasn’t changed since installation but I can’t even get someone on the phone consistently to come out. Customer service is completely unreliable. when someone finally came they followed up two weeks later. now I need help in the final step but no follow through. but rest assured when they want to make the sale they are at your beck and call.” – Ss C. ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 2, 2024
Positive reviews:
“Bought a washing machine on Best Buy and it was delivered, but the wall got scratched. Hawaii unified sent a competent and friendly repair person named Victor to fix the damage. He did a great job. Very happy with the service from Hawaii Unified.” – mele o ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2026
“Everything you would want: careful prep thru install . . . and cleanup! Plus they set-up oven to burn- off factory smell so it will be ready to use. Would gladly call on this company again.” – Lani Garcia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 2025
Negative reviews:
“Currently embroiled in lawsuits due to inadequacy and inability to communicate with investors and project owners. Do not hire these guys!” – H T ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 2026
“Living on Hawaii Island and had my home solar system put in by Hawaii Unified through Powur and it has been the worst experience from start to ongoing problems even now. My system got a arc fault from the rains and three weeks later still no one will come by to see it. Meanwhile I am loosing money buying electricity from HECO.” – Skye Harris ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 2026
