“We installed solar with batteries several years ago, but the system stopped working. It took several texts, phones calls and emails over a couple of months before they even came to assess the situation. Eventually they scheduled a technician to come out and asked for payment up front. The technician came and said it was fixed, but it wasn’t. We contacted them to try to remedy the situation, but kept getting the run around. We even contacted the owner and he said he’d look into it, but he hasn’t done much to try to fix it. It has been over 2 months since they took our money and said they fixed it but it’s not. It seems like are good at installing, but very bad with maintaining a system. “Worst experience ever. We installed with HI Power Solar 4 years ago and for the last couple of months my electric bill has skyrocketed an extra $600/month. I called HI Power immediately in September and they told me that my inverted (still under warranty) was broken and they wouldn’t be able to send a technician until Christmas. I told the company that since I’m losing thousands of dollars anyways, I could give any technician $500 to come ASAP. This is only an appointment to INSPECT the inverter. This is NOT an installation and doesn’t need to take much time. Their response was ridiculous, and suddenly he had an opening for next week. Even if the technician arrived, it’s only a consultation for an inverter replacement and I would have to wait 3 more months to actually receive a NEW one.
