“I am completely satisfied with Incentive Solar’s work: system design, installation and workmanship, and customer support. I thoroughly reviewed seven companies that service my area, spoke to sales managers several times at length, and received bids and a few contracts. I selected Incentive Solar for the following reasons: (1) My system cost just under $24,000. The other companies wanted $29,000 to $43,000 for comparable systems. (2) They modified the contract to meet my requirements. A contract from a competitor stated that work could within 9 months. When I asked for this to be changed I was told “the contract is the contract!” (3) While other companies first communicated to me via zoom, the Incentive Solar Regional Sales Manager came to my house and measured by roof! Incentive Solar’s team arrived on the dates promised and work was completed without delay. The team took care with my property and left no mess. “I spent many days researching and reviewing solar bids. Cole, with Incentive Solar, had the best customer service by far. I had a pretty good idea of what solar equipment I wanted a head of time, and he gave me exactly what I asked! He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Through multiple conversations and site visits, Cole earned my trust as a client. He was competitive with his solar bid and worked diligently to outbid his competition. Cole is also very responsive. He was always there to take your call or answer a text! We are so grateful to have partnered with him for this construction project. Greg, the lead installer, is a hoot! He is a down-to-earth guy, who is extremely hard working. He and his team stayed until 9pm just to get the job done. “We recently used Incentive Solar to do our solar install and were absolutely thrilled with the job they did. Greg did the whole install himself and was meticulous at every step of the way. I would imagine the fact that their team runs lean is how they are able to offer such a competitive price. I will start by saying that I was originally against the idea of solar after a few consults with other companies but after talking to Greg and Ben, they explained to me both the benefits of having the solar itself and the great tax credits that California offers. After giving them the go ahead, they went ahead and got the panels ordered (which are beautiful black/black). When they arrived Greg was prompt to start installation and considerate that we had started paying on our loan and wanted to get us generating as fast as possible. Within a few days they were up and looking sleek and beautiful. The installation included monitoring software so we can see how much each panel is generating, or all, and per day, month etc. The only thing we had to wait on was for SDGE to give us the green light, even that only took a day or so. At this point we were so impressed with Greg and his knowledge and expertise. After we were rolling Greg and Caroline came up and gave us a wonderful gift basket for choosing them to do our solar. “Full disclosure – I am a cost conscious engineer that analyzed the heck out of solar before making the decision 1 year ago. Fast forward, I am very happy with my investment decision. For some details, I chose Panasonic panels, they may cost a little more but I am in the manufacturing business and have firsthand experience and utmost respect for Japanese quality systems. Second, I chose the right solar company to work with – Incentive Solar. I tend to vector towards local family owned service businesses as I have lived in the same San Diego home for 28 years. They did an excellent job of explaining solar benefits, provided a well-thought-out design for my roof/location (see pic) and finished the installation on time. “Had a great experience with Incentive Solar. Cole personally came out to do a site visit and spent a couple of hours walking me through the process and assessing my home for optimal installation. Panels and equipment were delivered to my home in advance of the install. The team only took one day to install my system and did a nice job. Very pleased with their offering of Enphase and REC panels with a strong warranty on parts and labor. Not a single leak in my roof due to their installation despite a wet winter.
